How does the transmitter work if there are no wires or batteries????

I have 2 sets, one upstairs and one for our walkout basement. Bought the first one 3+ years ago and it’s still in perfect working condition.

Are the buttons powered by a 9-10 year primary lithium battery (like lifetime smoke detectors)? Physics dictates it needs a power source to transmit.

The push powers the signal.. no batteries.. and the push is super gentle for the pup. My Pomeranians have no issue activating the bell when they want to feel the wind in their fur. We have 2 activators and 2 receivers.. so they can activate at each door and we can hear throughout the house. Good luck behind trained by your pup to take them out when they want to play! Now I need to buy two for outside so they can return when they like.

I have two activators and one receiver but only one activator works, the other one is not.. Am I missing something or did I get a defective piece?

We have two activators (the thing the dog pushes) and one receiver (that plays the music. One receiver is on the inside of the door a & the other is on the outside of the same door. Both activate the music. If you have your system set up the same & it isn’t working, I’d contact the company & see if they have any advice or could send you a new activator.

can each activator be set to give off a different sound? So if i'm upstairs, the back door ring would signal bathroom and front door signal walk

Two different activators programmed to different receivers would be needed for this setup. You could also do to receivers per activator to assist with hearing on both levels.
