Noisy
I purchased the pickup set new to replace my previous EMGs. They sound great and is a sound-wise, a nice alternative to the more common active pickups. However, the bridge pickup has noticable feedback. I tried my other EMGs (81/85/60) on that position and only the Fat 55-F bridge had a noticable hum. I don't know if they usually sound like that or if it's a QC defect (pre-amp made in USA, pickup made in Indonesia) but it's a con to the usual EMG quietness that would otherwise be an advantage.
