My Grandson just bought a house with a big yard and a lot of raking to do, but I actually bought this rake for my Great Granddaughter to help her dad rake the leaves. She's 4 and had no trouble using it. The weight was perfect for her and because it's adjustable the length was perfect. She loved the idea of helping her dad and he loved it too! It is sturdy and well made and I would recommend it to everyone.

I was very surprised when this rake came in such a little box but when put together it is a nice-sized rake very sturdy and perfect for my needs. A nice feature is you can adjust how long or short you need it to be.

I ordered this for the extra length of the handle and the mention of "heavy duty". So far, both seem to be apt descriptions. It is lightweight, even when all the handle lengths are added. The handle sections screw together tightly, and the handle in it's longest configuration doesn't flex or come apart. An observation, not a complaint: As denoted as "sturdy", the tines are pretty rigid, not flimsy-flexible like most leaf rakes, and are also longer after the end-bend. So leaves clump on the tines pretty good and require clearing by hand more often (being hollow, I don't really want to bang the handle against the lip of a municipal lawn can, it could possibly crease it). But again, this in not a criticism, and the rake is far more useful for me, even with this slight additional handling. The construction of the tool itself seems to be excellent. The finish seems to be anti-rust also, so with prudent use, it should last a long time. I would classify this as an addition to the regular wood-handled leaf rake that I already own, not a replacement. I'm impressed, and I'm glad I bought it.Update: My wife likes it so much, since we usually yard-work together, we bought a 2nd one.Update #2: Apparently, the same rake for less (and more reviews)  here on Amazon .

The bottom seems nice and sturdy. But the connecting pieces rotate and slip out with little effort. Pure trash.

I’ll keep the rake but it was heavier than expected and the tines were stiffer. I kept it but don’t know if I will long term. The handle screws together so it’s heavy duty but heavy. We shall see over time.

The rack was easy to assemble, it's the right size, it can adjust to different sizes, it also easy to hold on to because of the because of the yellow grips that is put in place.

Perfect to rake old dried wet leaves around my plants and succulents (there's no way I'm putting my hands in there, we have black windows) and tightly spaces. Did the job ! Happy camper
