After installing these 6 months ago, I still haven't had any issues. I modded my entire joycon to be solid black and changed the joycon software to make them match the physical colors.I had issues initially with joycons drifting slightly or characters getting stuck when moving a certain direction but all that was fixed once I recalibrated them.Installation took me about 10 minutes each joycon, just be careful as there are some really thin wires and springs inside the joycons, so work as slowly as you can.That being said, these are great and are inexpensive so I'll probably end up purchasing more of these later on.

Product worked flawlessly. Needed 2 new Joy-Con Replacement Joysticks for my Left and Right side as both were giving my son fits. Games were almost unplayable, but thanks to these replacements we’re back in business. All you need is a good YouTube DIY video, Tri-Wing screwdriver, Phillips Screwdriver and a credit card or thin wedge tool to open up the controller. Tweezers are also handy. This is a parts only item (There are some Kits out there that come with tools needed). But since I have replaced the joysticks before and still had the tools, this order was just what I needed. Just make sure to calibrate the sticks after installing them.

The toggles feel as good as the originals, smooth and responsive, initially. How ever, my blue toggle is already failing to respond to movements in the right direction after less than 24 hours of game play.

I installed one of these two sticks in my Switch Lite because they had the right color to match my Pokemon edition console. The sticks were a good color match and looked close enough that i was fine with the part, it went in fine and seemed to be all good. Within a week the stick developed a worse drifting problem than the original, thats way too fast but Tg it happened soon and i was able to cancel my order for additional sticks i had place (Im a cautious fellow).In the end I bit the bullet and disassembled my original stick, it had a good amount of dust inside, so i took out all the components and cleaned them with a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol, none of the contacts or the carbon resistive patches seemed worn and when I snapped it back together the stick was fine. I reinstalled the original stick and all is good, from here on out i am going to try cleaning around the base of my sticks weekly and hope it doesn't come back or worse start in my right stick.Long story short i don't think these are good quality OEM replacements, i observed that the top is a little smaller in diameter than the original and other reviewers had noted this, I was willing to let it slide but I think it just proves that these are not exact replacements and I probably should have taken that as a sign that they wouldn't be of good enough quality. Shop around for a better part or if you are brave I'd suggest opening up your stick and cleaning it but thats at your own risk, it has some really tiny parts you don't want to loose.I hope this helps.
