Better then crutches
I twisted my ankle, was not able to put a lot of weight on my foot. I bought these, based on reviews. Material feels cheap. But let me tell you they are real sturdy. They are more comfortable then crutches.

Provides more stability than a cane
I needed something between a cane and an underarm crutch as I recover from a broken fibula and wean myself off of my walker. This forearm crutch seemed the best solution. I only needed one so I ordered this. It’s perfect for my needs, providing stability and comfortable to use. It is stable on all surfaces, wood and tile floors, concrete and asphalt. It’s lightweight and folds down to a compact size so I’ll be able to carry it with me even after my leg heals just in case. My only complaint is that the rubber tip squeaks when I put weight on it. All in all, I’m very pleased.

can be used for play, but not good for walking assistance
The bottom of the cane is prone to slipping, the hand support is very hard, the length is inconvenient to adjust, and when lifted, if caught on something, the cane is prone to coming loose from the middle section. In short, it can be used for play, but if you really need a cane for walking assistance, don't buy it.

Sturdy and lightweight cane'
The forearm support feels very sturdy and stabilizes walking much better than a standard cane. I had to re size the plastic guide on the male end of the upper section. As received the joint was so tight that it could hardly be called a "break down" cane. The bottom of the handle grip had a sharp front to back molding ridge that needed to be removed. The large cane tip is rounded on the bottom, and does not stabilize the cane very well when placed to rest in an upright position. I will replace the original tip with the $10 tip from Wal-Mart. The cut outs in the forearm support had sharp edges and had to be to be smoothed with sandpaper to be comfortable to use. It appears that little effort was spent on the functional "finish" .

Easier on your wrist than a cane
I had a failed hip replacement. Every step since has hurt. I tried using a cane and while barefoot, broke my little toe on the other side. I ordered one originally and decided that two would be better. You can support all your weight I’m just a Palm of your hands. And with two I can take all the pressure off of my leg and I am able to walk mostly without pain.

Not the same item anymore
I bought this item 4 times in the past and was a happy customer. But when I bought one couple of weeks back, it is not the same Item as before. The bottom is thick compared to ones before, but very slippery at home (like on tile and wood floor). I have to return it.

Compact and functional
Was down due to ruptured disc in lumbar. Had terrible sciatic nerve pain and lower calf pain later. Ordered this foldable cane to help with mobility. This has a large rubber foot for stability. Happy with ease of storage as well as study construction.

Surprisingly Flimsy
After one week of very light use (I only used it to occasionally walk from my bedroom to the kitchen) the rubber bottom had broken and the metal pole came through. This makes the crutch not only unpleasant but actually dangerous to use as it has no grip and slides around on smooth floors like tiles and gets caught on carpets. The crutch is a bit uncomfortable but would serve its purpose well enough if it didn't immediately break.
