If you are genuinely interested in the real history and evolution of martial arts this book is a must. Translations of Chinese texts allow the reader to access the thoughts and idea of a wide range of teachers.Buy it, read it, then read it again.

Great book. A compilation and more detailed explanation of some of the old secret Gung Fu lore and best practices. A great follow up to David Chow's Kung Fu: History, Philosophy and Technique. More of a curiosity than anything but worthwhile having nonetheless.
