1500W 1500 watt 3000W 3000 Watt modified sine wave power inverter 24v

I originally got this to use in our family car - however upon receiving it realised that this wasn't the correct version. We are however planning a camper project (using leisure batteries) so will update as this comes to fruition. All seems well made and and an auto electrics friend assures me that this is great piece of kit.

This works well on a 24v leisure battery, provides enough output to power most of my electronics and does exactly as advertised.

I have to admit I presumed this would also work on a car until my husband informed me that a car battery is 12V and not 24V, and this inverter is more suitable for a lorry.Even if you manage to get the 24V inverter to work with a 12V battery, the inverter may not be able to supply the required wattage to run your appliances and devices effectively.Also this can potentially damage your car battery/alternator if attempting this.So, I get why it would be beneficial for a long distance lorry driver to use this as it has dual 3 pin UK plug sockets and a USB port.It states in the instructions this is a "Sine Wave Invertor 1500W MODIFIED"The modified inverter doesn't perform aswell as the 'pure' but whilst it is cost effective, there is some appliances which will not work with a modified unit.It is estimated around 80% of appliances will work with the modified unit in comparison to the 'pure'.
