Very Nice
Upon first opening it, I was going to bash this product. Plastic lids? And I thought they were threaded too. My other shakers are all stainless. But... Don't judge a book by its cover, eh? First of all: Yes, the shaker lid and the travel lid are both plastic. However, they do have rubber seals and they are not threaded. Furthermore, the plastic is thick and sturdy. As mentioned, "...going to bash..." Then I made a drink. The shaker lid attaches easily and securely, as it should. It's the travel lid that makes this shaker a great product. The cup itself is insulated, doesn't sweat, and comes with a travel lid and a straw. If one looks closely at my picture, one can see that the stainless straw has a ridge to prevent it from sliding free of the lid. This ridge also helps to seal the straw-hole, should one want to periodically "reshake" one's drink without changing lids. One can always use the "sip-cup" type hole in the travel (instead of the straw) if one is so inclined, which has a rubber seal also, to avoid spillage.Usually, I avoid cups and lids with so many parts. They make cleaning bothersome. For this shaker, I will make an exception. None of my other shakers are insulated. Some of them sweat. And none of them have a travel lid with a cool straw. I suppose a little extra effort in cleaning is worth all of the extra features that make this shaker a great buy.And it comes with a brush to clean the straw too.

Nice shaker but the plastic top puts you off a little
First off, if you read nothing else - this shaker is nice. It doesn't "freeze up" when shaking because it is double-walled. The materials used are nice and appropriate. The top stays in well. The only rub is that the top is plastic - so it doesn't look as nice as full metal shakers. However, because it is plastic it is made in a way that it can easily be taken on and off the shaker without it getting "stuck" but stays in firmly enough that you don't have to worry about fluid flying everywhere.

One stop adult sippy cup
So, I like making cocktails. My wife likes drinking them. This nifty device saves me both time and cleanup. Win-Win!The insulated walls will keep your drink cold until you finish it. I used this to keep a drink on ice (it was a LARGE drink), and it took me almost 2 hours to finish it. There was still a little ice in it, and the drink was cold to the last drop. The shaker cap has a very secure gasket so you don’t have to worry about leaks. The slightly squared bottom is comfortable to hold, and the finish is slightly textured so you won’t drop it easily. No condensation beads up on the outside either. The sippy lid has a straw port, and the included metal straw reaches to the bottom. Happily and so what surprisingly, the bottle brush cleaner is actually long enough to clean the whole straw. The only problem I have run into is that the gaskets seal a little too well. It can take a bit of finesse to get the shaker lid (or cap) off, and when using the sip port rather than the straw, you can run into vacuum making it hard to get the liquid into your mouth. Opening the straw port helps, but my nose keeps blocking the port. I usually use the straw, 'cause that's easier than shortening my nose.If you like shake and go cocktails, you will love this.
