Western Desert Canteen

.i'm disappointed I thought it would be all metal/ aluminum like a very old 2 quart canteen that I still own-but it's a plastic canteen with a blanket cover and metal crimped rim. And it's large; it holds a gallon which is great And has the western look that I want. The strap is way too short for anything except as a handle . I give it three stars if it were metal and had a long strap I would give it 5+ stars. I was going to return it but I think I'll keep it ; I recommend it as long as you know what you're getting.

I ordered this for my grandpa. He loves it. He said it was impossible to find a comparable size, especially for the quality, locally. VERY well made, and fast delivery.

The main color is not purple it's grey. So save yourself the extra $5 and by the brown one.
