So, I've had the same skimmer since 1999 when I installed my pool. Just this year the original flapper plastic tabs broke and gave out causing to block the water ..making the pump to not operate properly. I had to troubleshoot the whole pump/ skimmer for a day until I found out it was just the flapper was broke.( an inexpensive fix) Long story, longer... I measured the flapper size before ordering and this one matched up perfectly... It was very cost effective and shipped in a timely manner. Perfect replacement! Installation was less then 2 minutes.

These are not the same quality as the original $25 Hayward but very serviceable for 1/3 the price. Fit was perfect and installation easy.

Was a super easy install…I’ve had a broken skimmer door for ages and decided to look for a PN on it and this came up as the quickest one to my door for the best price…got it next day and had it installed before you can say cannonball!

I bought this to replace a Hayward skimmer that stuck and caused the pool to suck down air instead of water. That skimmer was unreliable and very difficult to remove.This new skimmer works great and it's much better than the one I replaced. It looks like it would be much easier to remove too, but I haven't actually tried removing it while it is working so well.

I ordered two of these first and they were perfect. I was actually shocked at what a good price they were. Once I found out they fit I order two more as a precaution. The quality of these doors is the same as the original that was put in our pool over 15 years ago.
