Will the worklight turn on when the trigger is pulled if the light switch is at the off position? the manual says yes, but mine doesn't.

Yes and no ... there are three settings: 1) always on 2) always off and 3) on only when the trigger is pulled (plus ~10s delay turning off when trigger released).

Is this hammer drill compatible with the DCB201 battery?

Thank you for your question. It is compatible with the DCB201 battery. All DeWalt 20 volt Max batteries and chargers are interchangable with all DeWalt 20 volt max tools. We would suggest if you will be doing a longer project, you may want to consider upgrading to a 3 (DCB203) 4 (DCB204) or 5 (DCB205) AH for less charging time in-between work but the 201 has worked great for the small-medium projects I've done. It also charges fairly quickly (about 30-45 minutes in DCB107). Another added benefit of the DCB201 is that it's a lighter weight battery which doesn't add as much weight to the drill. This is the best cordless drill around! Better than the new model DCD806 which stops all the time the tool senses too much resistance. Wish Dewalt would still continue to produce these great models. Super powerful yet compact!!

Much Better Than My Bosch 18V I switched from an 18V Bosch hammer drill to this DEWALT 20V MAX, and the difference is substantial. Build quality feels a clear step up—I’ve dropped this one from a ladder several times with zero damage. Power delivery is stronger and more consistent thanks to the brushless motor, while the compact size handles tight spots well. It fits perfectly into my existing DEWALT battery system. The only downside is some fatigue during long overhead sessions due to weight. Solid, durable tool that outperforms my old Bosch in everyday use.
