I bought these along with the red wine and white wine set as a Christmas present for a friend. When she opened it up and pulled out the glasses, I realized I should have kept them for myself lol everyone was enchanted by the black/smoky color. I was nervous they would be too dark, but they extremely chic! I love how they contrast with the white walls of the modern bar in her home.

I'm not the biggest fan of the color black and tend to gravitate more toward warm, earthy tones but I wanted to experiment with some moodier tablescapes this fall/winter. The smokey glassware from Hotel Collection was a great way to introduce a touch of black without going full gloom. Aside from the coupes, I also ordered the smokey wine glasses.Of the two, I found the smokey black effect more apparent on the coupes than the wine glasses.The coupes are on the larger side and feel quite sturdy. The glass is not so thick as to feel cheap, but it's not thin and ultra delicate either. These glasses feel built to withstand a number of parties and events.These will be great for cocktails or toasting champagne - and will also look nice in a champagne tower formation due to the smokey effect adding contrast.

These glasses are breathtaking. They are unlike any other coupe glass I’ve ever seen. They have an elegant look and feel. The stem is long and delicate but sturdy. The bowl is oversized and has a beautiful oval shape. The lip of the bowl curves slightly inward which gives these coupes their distinctive look. The color is opaque on the stem and turns ombré to translucent into the bowl of the glass. These are my new favorite coupe glasses! They come very well packaged and are gift ready.

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful glasses! I have always wanted coupe glasses to showcase cocktails in an elegant way, and these smoked ones are a smoke show! Wow! They are better than I imagined and have a nice weight and balance to them. I do have to say that it can be difficult to drink out of sometimes because the lip of the glass curves inward. Safer for walking with drinks so they don’t spill, but a little awkward. I kind of wish these glasses had straight sides, but it’s not altogether a dealbreaker. I’m still quite happy with these. They elevate my cocktail glass collection and offer something different for fancy cocktail nights.

These aren't your traditionally dainty cocktail glasses, they have some actual thickness to them, as well as, the following highlight and characteristics:- When compared to other coupe glasses you may see online, these bad-boys have a nice weight to them and the glass is thick to prevent accidental breakage as you down another vodka martini or two.. or three.- The gradient of the glasses black color starts off very dark and heavy at the bottom of the glass, but then slowly fade into a charcoal color until reaching a beautiful gray smokey color at the top that is pleasing.- For the price, the quality of these glasses and overall aesthetic rival those of glassware almost 3x the price of these! I'm thoroughly surprised by how well the design was executed and had to order another set ASAP.Whether it's a cocktail party, a celebratory party, or just you relaxing after a long day's work, these glasses are perfect for any occasion! I can't recommend them enough, so I'll stop my yammering and you start ordering the cocktail glasses that will change your happy hour from the get-go.

I’ve been on the hunt for nice coupe glasses for my bar setup and it ended with these. Perfectly delicate, beautiful profile, and awesome aesthetic touch with the smoke stem. Adds an extra element of visual appeal to certain darker cocktails. Love the entire collection, interested in getting the wine glasses. Quality in the crystal shows and very happy with these glasses.

Which is awesome and exactly what I was hoping for when I finally caved and got these (I’m storage poor but stuff rich so I’ve got to exercise a bit of restraint every now and then…). I just love the shape (and surrounding mythology) of the coupe glasses for champagne retro-style and the smoky glass is just so cool and dreamy. These glasses definitely satisfy those two things: amazing shape and beautiful color of mystery. Why these aren’t five star or even four star glasses? Well, when you look near the rim of each glass, there’s not a single straight edge to be seen (which is driving many an OCD eater shutdown in horror.). The rims around three of the four are wavy and a little wobbly looking. Despite fairly admirable packing, the strangest thing happened to one of the glasses: it has a small 1/4”l hairline cut, from the front, that doesn’t go all the way through the glass. So now I’m wondering if that one is safe to drink out of (it’s on the outside of the glass) or if I should toss it (and have a set of three…grrr). Aside from the mild existential crises these caused in our house and “…you definitely wouldn’t want to have that in the house” kinda comments that flew high and frequently after I opened my trap about it being off, these are pretty neato glasses that I’ll likely overthink and plan an entire event around the 3.5 of them that I have.
