Rustic Mini Flush Mount Ceiling Light

I love it! This is for our stair entry way to the basement. The installation is very easy for my husband. It looks much better and little bigger than I imaged. I had a bad experience with two simialr lights I ordered from Walmart prior to this order, and I’m also having troubles to return to Walmart’s marketseller! One month prime memebership I paid to amazon is so worth it, it’s much valuable than Walmart’s no member free shipping deal!I’m not a promoter, and don’t write much reviews! I just speak for my own experiences!

The mounting is so terrible on this one, the screws are on the inside, thread side down and it's almost impossible to line up the screws with the teeny tiny holes. I had to order a similar one to match, and they've since modified the product which angers me because it was such A pain in the neck to get up there I don't want to even touch it to take it down because it's so difficult to uninstall and install. If you order this make sure the screws are on the outside of the mounting plate not up underneath and that you can screw them into the plate from the outside. I don't know what the engineers were thinking on this one.

I had the same issues as others regarding the hardware... cannot mount into standard receptacle box with hardware provided. Be prepared for much frustration and trips to the hardware store to make this work because you will have to buy new mounts and/or plate adapters. HOWEVER, lights look very cool... and if you can make it through, they are worth it. They look cheap up close, but not by the time you get them on the ceiling. I bought 3 for a hallway. I get many compliments.

Great lights

I love the style of this light fixture. Overall, I’m happy with the product itself. It looks to be made well, it’s a decent size and the color is perfect! However, installation has been a nightmare. The screws are entirely too short for this product. We are going to attempt to get longer screws to make it work before we return it. I would not recommend until the screw issue is fixed. I so wish this would have been easier to install because I do love the fixture.

Its tough to articulate how moronic this design is.. Ive installed dozens of lights, fans, electrical devices and this has easily been the most poorly designed.The screws that go into the ceiling mount are normal size, great! The screws that come down and hold the fixture are larger and are wider than the fixture mount width. So if the screws hanging down are too long, then you cant screw them back up into the ceiling to get it to go flush. TERRIBLE design.The only possible work-around, if you buy this junk, is to buy those fully threaded "bolts" AND buy a different mounting fixture AND get new little end caps that match those fully threaded "bolts" size (#8) and THEN you can use this light. Its such a simple light and the design literally is worthless. Whats the point of buying THIS unit if youre going to have to go to homedepot and spend another 10$ to make it work...Just buy a different one, there are a million on here...Additionally, the wires were stripped about 1/4 of an inch. Laughable. So then i had to get the wirestripper out and with even the slightest pressure youre going to ripe the wire in half. I cant imagine the actual cost to make this cheap piece of crap is more than 3-4$.. Get literally ANY other light fixture. What a joke..

Not sure why people were complaining about the 'thickness' of the connection wires? They were a good size despite that this fixture is a smaller one and we had no issues with the fixture when we installed it ourselves. We have an older 1940's home and this light went in our hallway with little effort. We're grateful that it has such a wide range of adjustments, we would have never been able to get it to fit our old lopsided mount properly otherwise. It's cute while being just a little bit industrial, we put an LED Edison bulb in it for added effect and it looks great! You can't beat the cost either!

Bought 2 of these and installed them this morning. Spent about 30 minutes figuring out how use the included bracket to install the first one. The second one took less than 5 minutes. They look nice with an Edison bulb installed. Finish is good and they're perfect for my hallway. At $16/ea. these are highly recommended!
