This remote is slow and the biggest problem is it will work as long as you continually use it. I watch my movies in full without interruption but this remote stops, like it lost connection with the firestick. I have done all the suggestions to pair, change batteries and list goes on but it will not work after it sits for only a few minutes. To keep it registered or whatever it is, you need to constantly push buttons. This is the worst replacement I have ever received. It's cheaply made, it feels as if the buttons are loose. To get it to work again you push a few buttons holding them down for about 30 seconds release and wait a minute or two then usually the remote will start working but not always. If not, then it's repeat the steps again and maybe those aren't the steps since I press and hold a lot of buttons out of frustration!! All I know is it's a pain, I'm out that money and have bought an actual remote that is firestick not this cheap crap called 'RETROSUN'. Amazon is getting to be where I can't trust it, they have allowed a everyone to sell anything and make claims that are NOT true. There is more crap claiming to be real and isn't, compared to real stuff that's trustworthy!!!!! Amazon is not a great deal any longer!!!!

My Amazon Fire Stick remote stopped working so I bought this one! It is easy to use! It connected to my old Fire Stick easily! I just needed to figure out how to connect it to my sound bar! You select equipment under settings! Select sound bar! Then select change sound bar! The go through the process of connecting the sound bar again! My remote recognized my sound bar but did not control it well! Doing all of this helped it alot!

I did not like dislike anything about my product.

All other functions work with my Firestick, and the description says it is compatible with the model I have. However the volume up/down control does not work.

I bought this to control the Amazon fire tv part of our echo 15. Works great!

The volume and power buttons work fine but it’s like it loses communication when the fire or goes to sleep. After a minute or two all buttons start working again but as soon as you stop using it, it loses communication again. I have re-paired multiple times and replaced the batteries. My original remote works fine so it’s not the fire. When it works, it’s fine but having to wait 2 minutes every time I pick it up is unacceptable. Next time I will just she’ll out the extra money for an actual Amazon brand remote.
