Drill HogUSA 1/8" Cobalt M42 Drill Bits 12 Pack

I’m still on my first bit. I bought this bundle to use as pilot holes. By far the best drills I’ve used so far. They cut instantly and don’t walk. My chips/swarf are actually razor sharp and shouldn’t. You will ruin chip clearing brushes because the curlicues will rip and cut your bristles. I’ve only tried these on mild steel. So far, I’m very impressed.

Most drill bits I used on stainless steel aren't that great but still hogs eat thru that stainless so I recommend it if your having trouble drilling through hard steel.

I needed to drill out a bolt with a snapped head. Bought a pack of 15 expecting to go through at least 5 of them. Nope. Only used one and it went through the bolt with ease. I’m impressed. My only wish is that I had bought other sizes because as I stepped up the diameter with other bits they didn’t perform nearly as well.

I bought these to drill out screws that had been rounded out on aircraft and they were American made and had really good reviews. Lets just say 5 drill bits later I finally got a screw drilled far enough to get an easy out to work. I tried fast speed, slow speed, light pressure and heavy pressure, didn't cut well at all. Sadly disappointed.

We had this set sent to our Son to pay a football bet my husband lost. Our son is externally particular and he says they are by far the best drill bits he has ever seen.

These were very good drills. I have used them for wood, sheet metal and automotive metal. They do tend to be a little brittle but that may be due to there high tensile capacities.

Very good valued bit for metal drilling where tendency is to go through bits “quickly”! Bits last as long if not longer than several other “big name” brands I tried.
