Improved Design over the previous
Review is based upon unboxing and first impressions of the DS600. I have Depstech's other borescopes for piping work and a lot of DIY projects at home, specifically the DS450. It's been through a lot with me and has been great, through the USB slips out (some vinyl tape around the edge to help wedge it helped) and it is cumbersome with one hand. Needed something more one hand friendly. The DS600 is an improved product in my opinion. A bit bulkier, but I'm not shoving the screen anywhere so its fine. Key things I like off the bat on the DS600:1. The cable connection to the monitor is is a screwed cap that secures the cable in place. Love it and is miles ahead the USB connection. The cable on this one is also a bit sturdier than my previous so its a little more effort to bend but alternatively holds its shape better on longer pushes.2. Video quality is clear, crisp, and concise. Minimized shaking and good focal. Typical light adjustment the allows change on the LED brightness. Surprising the wide angle captures more than I expected when close to the object and at a clear image. Good video and picture quality.3. Standard case, sturdy and secure. Comes with the standard accessories you find for end adapters, magnet, hook.4. Loved the grip. Wouldn't think much about it, but having the handle is way easier than the box to control and navigate. Buttons at easy access for one hand use. Surprisingly my favorite thing. Comfortable and convenient.Overall, quite impressed. Improvements over the current DS450. Picture and video qualities are the same as I can tell, but the connector and the grip make a difference. Will report after a few field runs with this.

Quality product
This new DS600 borescope seems to be a high quality product. I have used a wireless model before that connects to your phone. While that worked well, it did have a slight lag. This standalone scope has good ergonomics and the screen is very clear. You can adjust brightness of the screen as well as of the scope lighting itself. Dual cameras is a nice touch to get a better view in tight spaces or when the gooseneck is difficult to position to get a specific view. Item description is spot on. An added bonus is that the case it comes in is very high quality with perfect cut outs and padding.

picture was good in good light
picture is good in good light, even though a light is on the end the picture was decent in color and in black and white, for me the line just wasn't long enough to go into my attic from a light fixture opening to search for bees I suspected of making a hive. But it was very easy to navigate and use right out of the box. I would recommend this product

Great tool
I recently purchased an endoscope and put it to the ultimate test: inspecting the inner workings of my trusty old car. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.First of all, the endoscope was incredibly easy to use. I simply plugged it into my phone and was able to see inside the engine in real time. It was like having x-ray vision for my car. I was able to spot a pesky oil leak in no time. But the fun didn't stop there. I also used the endoscope to check out the inside of my car's exhaust pipe (don't ask why). And let me tell you, it was a wild ride. I saw all sorts of debris and gunk that I never knew existed. It was like a journey through a strange and mysterious land.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my endoscope purchase. It's definitely a must-have tool for any car enthusiast (or anyone who just really loves peering into small, dark spaces). And who knows, maybe one day I'll even use it to explore the depths of space. The possibilities are endless with an endoscope! Highly recommend.
