Solved my battery power consumption issue
I was using the Flex-S camera with built in solar and battery assist. For the 2023 season, the unit never held power and being over 300 miles away, it pretty much stayed dormant until retrieved. This year, I am using the same Flex-S camera, same area, but w/o batteries in the camera pack, and have added the SPLB-22 solar panel. Since beginning of July 2024, I am receiving photo notifications daily, and the based on the camera status information, any power concern has been eliminated. I do feel the single contact mount is a potential failure point - only additional field time will tell. That shared - so far, so good!

It's good
This is a good game cam battery pack, considering it's just a Herd 360 with less power for the same money. I'd recommend the Herd 360, and support the guy who actually designed and invented it.

I've tried them all. This is the one to have cell game cams.
Buy it. I recommend it.First of all, this thing is big. I don't know the exact measurements but it is about 12"x12".I have tried all of the $40-$50 solar batteries for my game cams and most worked pretty well, I just had to make sure I had the correct voltage (either 6v or 12v). This unit does 6v, 9v, and 12v out. It comes with all of the cords for each voltage. It also includes a DC charger to use before you put it out in the field. Here is the best part: It has a 15,000mAh battery capacity. Yes, 15,000mAh!! All of my previous smaller ones had anywhere from 1800 to 2600mAh. 15,000mAh allows me to run my cell trail cams to send pics to my phone immediately ALL OF THE TIME. I don't have to wait every 6-12 hours to get pics. Pretty cool.So it is big and heavy which is out of necessity because of the capacity. This makes it a bit of a challenge to mount it to a tree. The battery comes with a pretty neat mounting bracket that screws into a tree, but after using it, the bracket is average. Maybe I'm just not using it right but it is pretty intuitive.Bottom Line - Stop being a tight ass and buy it. It's worth the money. You won't have to worry about your cam going dead from lack of power if there are heavy clouds or it rains for 4-5 days. I highly recommend that you use a security cable to lock it to a tree because if people see it, this thing will get stolen!

best value you can get
I have 2 of these for my trail cams as well as another brand in the same format and also a couple of the older lead acid battery versions. This one has 3 times the storage capacity of similar models and weighs a fraction of the lead acid battery models. It has multiple outputs and has worked flawlessly for over 2 years.

Does not hold charge
I recently purchased this solar panel to power a PurpleAir PA-II, which I use to monitor air quality in my neighborhood. After a full recharge of the solar panel battery bank and placing the solar panel in an area where there's approximately 10 hours of direct sunlight, my air monitor went offline after 3 days of uptime. This is extremely disappointing given the fact this solar panel is marketed as having 15,000 mAh battery capacity and the air monitor consumes less than 200mAh continuously. Even if I had kept this solar panel in the complete dark after the full recharge, it should've lasted longer on the battery bank than a paltry 3 days. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Great product. 👍
A great add on purchase. I have never bought another "AA" battery again. This solar panel slash battery pack is always charged. So convenient. Would not have a trail camera without one of these add on panels.

Facing south not essential
Superb piece of equipment, does exactly as described and surprisingly, copes with facing north to maintain 100% charge. Keeps the camera battery at a minimum of 88% and all I have done was swab some Bird lime off the sensor. Probably unnecessary but made me feel better.

Great solar panel, poor mounting hardware
The Spypoint Solar Panel with a built-in battery is a high-quality product that I would rate at 5 stars if it came with a decent mounting kit. The build quality is excellent, and it should keep a trail camera running almost indefinitely. The solar panel can also produce a charge for the battery with very little light, making it quite versatile in working with different types of devices. Additionally, it comes with several output voltages and cables, which is a great feature. However, the included installation kit is not very good. The metal rod that screws into the back of the panel and then into a tree is a bad design since you can't adjust tilt or angles. Also, the rod is too short, and you can't turn the panel to secure it to the metal rod after screwing the rod into a tree or piece of wood. There are no mounting instructions included in the user guide, which makes sense since the mounting kit does not work very well!Despite the poor mounting kit, I would still recommend this solar panel by Spypoint for its quality and versatility. Just be aware that you may need to create your own mount to use the panel properly and give it the proper sun exposure (depending where you install it). Overall, this is a good solar panel, and it's worth considering if you need to keep game/trail cameras charged when left alone for long periods of time.

great product, easy to use.
Instructions could be more inclusive as to use and hook up, eg. could this unit power two cameras at once

Works great
I have 2 and they get full sun for only half the day and then partial for rest of day. They run game cameras in a high traffic area and have never dropped below 90%
