I purchased these because I didn't want a timer to go off or keep looking at a clock, when time is up working with clients. My office is zen and I like to keep it that way. I tried them both with timers a few times each to see if they do keep the exact time. They are so close or on time. Being so close- min or less, isn't an issue for me. I love the colors, the shape and when I have clients come in they will notice the color and beauty of them, not focus on being an hour glass/sand time.

I got these to help me with time management when I work and study on my computer. I tested them out to find that the "15 minute" timer runs an extra 30ish seconds and the "30 minute" timer runs for over 1 minute extra. But I did get both for about $15 so for the price it's not too bad. The colors are very nice and they add some decoration to my desk.

And nice. Size. I have ADHD and have found using sand / hourglass timers to be very useful for keeping my attention as to how much time I have left. and they are pretty too.

The timer is very beautiful but I actually ordered the 1hr version but got the 15min version.
