I am NOT a reader, and I finished this in 3 days.. And still craving more
I LOVED this book. It was the perfect amount of comedy, romance and spice. Very relatable, as we all can shy away from our feminine side from time-to-time and forget romance really is enjoyable with the right person and an open attitude. If you’re debating, BUY IT. You wont regret it, its a great book.

Fun, Quick Read
This match between a laidback furniture designer and buttoned up lawyer was very enjoyable. It takes place in the UK, so as an American reader there were several phrases I had to look up the meaning of (as well as a few words missing in my digital version) but it was good enough that I’ll now look for other romance novels from this author.

Great Book
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was very funny in places and sweet in others. The contract was very clever. Hudson was great at being the paid escort later to become the love interest of the lady lawyer who drew up the contract. It was a very good read and I recommend it highly.

Good Start with a Ending Fail
This book had so much potential to be adorable and sweet and fantastic and then it’s as though the author got to the last few chapters and just gave up. She started making editing mistakes and the ending was so lackluster.**Spoilers**I really struggled with Hudson. He was wonderful and so understanding of Rebecca but it was really hard to believe he was in love with her. He is known to be charming, has a ton of ex-girlfriends and a history of women falling for him. None of his behavior seemed off from this background and character and yet when she tries to end their relationship he acts as if she should just KNOW that he’s in love with her even though he never said a thing about their relationship being more. And then, once he does admit his feelings he’s seen kissing another woman DAYS later even though he’s in love with Rebecca (not cheating technically but if you’re that in love with a woman I’d imagine you need a minute to start making out with other people) and that little episode is never even mentioned or explained. I really didn’t walk away from this book with that happy feeling of closure I usually get from a romance.

pretty cute story
I love the fake dating trope and this one is great! I took off one star because the FMC Rebecca did annoy me a little from time to time. The spice was good and I did enjoy the relationship that develops between the two main characters. Is predictable but still fun.

Review
It started out slow but definitely got better as you got into the 3rd chapter and on. The character growth is realistic and definitely ended up invested in the relationship.

Just wonderful!
Loved this story and Rebecca and Hudson. So glad she met him and mended her relationship with her sister as well. It is reminiscent of The Wedding Date and it's one of my favorite movies. Love love love this book💖

I laughed, I cried
What a fun, unexpected story! I loved it! Do opposites attract? Yes! They do and they did and what fun! Boy meets girl in a bar. Girl has a bit too much to drink and one thing leads to another and before you know it you have a contract for a date. A real contract. This story was so well written even the more amorous scenes were in good taste.Recommended read.

Thoroughly enjoyed this!
Such a good read; a seasonal story full of well drawn characters who draw you into their lives effortlessly. A fake fiancé used to deflect attention during a family event is a familiar plot line but when it’s a well written one you can be sure you are in for a great journey.Rebecca needed a man to take home for Thanksgiving and Hudson needed money to pay the rent on his workshop, after considering Rebecca’s offer he agreed to go to New York, posing as her boyfriend. Things don’t go quite as Rebecca envisioned, Hudson excelled at playing his part and Rebecca felt herself falling for him. But there was no room in her life for a man, was there? A perfect book for a summer afternoon.
