It’s a beautiful compass however the box is comes in is not presentation quality. If you do buy this as a gift get a box or flannel bag.

Accuracy
Unfortunately if you need this in a real "Let me find true North", situation you will be lost and going around in circles. Compass is a piece of junk.

Horrible
It's a piece of junk. The needle just sits in one spot, I shake it, it moves to pointing west only I'm facing north.

Pretty sure a compass should be able to find north. You had ONE job, compass!
Got this to test before buying a bunch of them for gifts. I found it was unable to reliably point north, and returned it.
