Miniatures are nicely detailed and painted. Perhaps better than previous editions.

On the models themselves
To start off, I don't play the game so I can't speak to game performance or anything.The models are good, all but the Saber are re-releases, but the new paint jobs are actually really good especially on the Sovereign and Saber. Historically I haven't been a fan of their switch to more silverey paint for the Federation ships but in this case they actually executed it quite well.

Good game, poor components
The game is the best of those that use the flight path mechanic. This pack’s stands are low quality. I bought an Xwing stand pack to replace this one. The quality difference is like night and day. This expansion does not come with sufficient tokens for the ships. No shield tokens. Now sure where a player is supposed to get those without raiding another expansion.
