A great snack!
These hit the spot just right, for an afternoon or post-dinner treat.. They aren't marketed as a "teriyaki" or "peppered" jerky, but I can assure you, these have very high taste profiles of both. They've got a nice peppered spice to them (if you're a no-heat weakling, as I am) and a subtle teriyaki flavor from the soy sauce used in the flavoring process. They are very tender and it only takes a few tough chews to break them down. I would give them a 7.5-8 / 10 in terms of tenderness. The flover ranks in at a 8/10. The sad part is that SRF is known for their fantastic meats, and meat flavors, but here it feels like that great meat is just being covered over with pepper and soy sauce... There is no meat flavor profile. Nevertheless, it's a great tender flavorful snack which you are guaranteed to enjoy..The item weighed in at 10.6 oz. out of 10 oz listed on package. The product was ordered in Dec 2022 and the expiration was scheduled for "best by:" of August 2023... So they're really fresh, and it shows in the meat quality. The packaging looks amazing, as always with SRF. The bag is able to be resealed, and is a good durable thick packaging. I think this would survive a camping bag quite well, if stashed inside for a campsite snack. Some of the pieces were quite thick, and tough to chew because of itit - it looks like they were pressed for space and jammed a bunch together. Some of the pieces had rolled up meat and were as thick as one of my fingers. At 70g protein for a 10 oz bag, it's a bit underwhelming when compared to something like the Carnivore Crisps brand, which comes in at 24g protein for a 1.5 oz bag. Also, you can factor in things like CC uses grass-fed beef and Redmond Real Salt, where-as SRF uses a mix of brown sugar, cane sugar, onion, soy, garlic and celery. It's a bit more complex in the ingredients. However, all is good. It's still a great product - but it could be better than just good. All in all this is a great teriyaki flavored snack, but it hasn't won my coveted #1 jerky spot in my heart.

What A Difference
This is like no other beef jerky I've ever tried in terms of tenderness and richness. There's just something about it that says Special, and I'm not talking about the price (it's worth it.) If other good jerkies are a seven or eight this is a ten or eleven.

Air Fry
It's average beef jerky....until you throw it into the air fryer for a couple minutes, then it's really good jerky.

One of the best jerkies.
I wish they sold a larger bag size. Besides that, this jerky is literally some of the BEST jerky I've had the pleasure of eating. It's worth the money.

Melts in your mouth!
Best jerky I've found! I used to make my own but I'm too busy and this is the best commercially made I've found. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

Tender
The flavor is good but average nothing crazy, but how soft and tender even the toughest pieces are are way better than most beef jerky you can buy.

It’s Ok.
This jerky I found to be just ok. Not bad, not great. Certainly, have had better. The texture was a little odd to me. The flavor is ok.
