The Wicked Truth: Madigan Wicked (The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside Book 4)

I absolutely loved The Wicked Truth by Melissa Foster; it is an incredible opposites-attract love story. It is the fourth book in her The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside series. I love The Wickeds: Dark Knights at Bayside series and am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Melissa Foster has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. I love that she continues to write the books that I love to read. It was impossible to put The Wicked Truth down and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? One of my favorite parts is that I love how the picture on the cover of the book is incorporated into the love story. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. The Wicked Truth is an opposites-attract love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. The Wicked Truth is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, Melissa Foster did not disappoint, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. I love how Melissa Foster always manages to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. The Wicked Truth is the story of Madison Wicked, storyteller, puppeteer, and entrepreneur and Tobias Riggs, auto mechanic. Tobias and Madison meet at the Salty Hog, a bar owned by Madison’s aunt and uncle, while she is performing there. Conversation between Tobias and Madison flows so easily, and I love that they each share secrets with one another that they never shared with anyone before. Things heat up quickly between Tobias and Madison as they spend time together. Tobias believes that he is not good enough for Madison and tries to break things off with her each time they are together. Neither Madison nor Tobias is looking for a relationship or love, both have been disappointed from past relationships. A plot twist caused by Madison’s overprotective brothers causes Tobias to leave town, but soon realizes that Madison deserves to hear the truth about his past from him. I love that Tobias and Madison finally admit their true feelings for one another. I love the ending of their love story. I love how both Tobias and Madison change because of their love for one another, especially how Madison stands up to her brothers and cousins. My favorite part is the nicknames that Madison and Tobias call each other. I love how all the Wicked come to support Tobias, regardless of his past. The Wicked Truth is filled with poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists. I love the characters and the family dynamic in The Wicked Truth the characters feel like family and friends. It felt like a family reunion, catching up with the other characters in the series. I enjoyed all the interactions between the Wicked siblings and cousins, and Madison’s interactions with them, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I loved all the characters in The Wicked Truth, especially Junie and Rosie. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed The Wicked Truth, who does not love an opposites-attract love story. Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

The chemistry between Madigan & Tobias is off the charts. I loved that Madigan stuck to her truth and got Tobias to see the truth would set him free and begin to let him live again. I also really enjoyed how most of the guys gave Tobias a second chance, all but Blaine of course. But when Blaine and the guys came through for him when he was facing his toughest life decision was inspiring. And Madigan’s loyalty and understanding and guidance was FANTASTIC. Great read!!

Love the main characters. Great love story. Melissa Foster never disappoints. She is a true gift and will read anything she writes

Another great book from Melissa Foster. I just started reading this story and the chemistry from Madigan and Tobias was palpable. Even though they shouldn’t be together for even one night, these two are both head strong individuals and they’re going to do what they want with no concern for the consequences. Madigan knew there were red flags with Tobias, and he wasn’t sharing a lot about himself with her, but chemistry won out. I truly enjoyed being a fly on the wall watching these two to see what was going to happen, I was rooting for them to overcome her past relationship, when she was younger, and his past but that was wishful thinking. When the guys showed up and pretty much threw Tobias under the bus and let Madigan know about his past, that he’s an ex-con, that was the final straw. Madigan pretty much furious at the guys took off to be by herself and Tobias just took off. I will say that I was a little disappointed that Tank was involved in this because of his friendship/bromance with Truman and knowing what he went through in his past. However, leave it to her parents, especially her dad who did research and knows exactly why Tobias was in prison and the guys went off without all the information. I felt for Madigan and Tobias, and I was a little concerned that we weren’t going to see Tobias again. However, Tobias being the stand-up man that he is, came back to make things right with Madigan and tell her the whole story including his family estrangement with his sister, niece, and father. It was also interesting that when Madigan was heading to breakfast with Tobias to meet her parents and grandfather and she gets there, and everyone is there. I have to give her father credit for the ambush, but he just wants everyone to get along again. I liked how Madigan and Tobias got back together and how everyone helped him put his past to rest and find a job and future and see what happens next for these two. Of course, I always love a book when we get to spend time with Junie and Rosie, spending time with them always makes me happy. I was also excited for Marly; I was just thinking that she needed to have something good happen in her life. Definitely a great book and a wonderful ending for Madigan and Tobias.

Tobias Riggs is trying to readjust after getting out of prison and doesn't want to get closer to anyone. Unfortunately, the universe has other plans for these two. What started off as a no strings attached night becomes something else without either one of them admitting until things have gone too far.I absolutely loved this book and although I was prepared for the emotional rollercoaster of a Melissa Foster book, this one took me on quite the journey and I grew attached to Riggs and Mads quickly and with every page I wanted them to be together.Although this book is part of the Whiskey and Wicked series, you do not have to have read the other books to enjoy this one, but after reading and falling in love with Mads and Riggs, you'll want to visit with everyone else you meet in their book.

The Wicked Truth is book #4 of The Wickeds: Dark Knights At Bayside series of contemporary romances.This book can be read as a stand alone story, however there are many characters from other books which all link up.This is the story of Tobias and Madigan. They share a connection for music and neither is looking for a long-term relationship.The romance is very spicy and there are a lot of explicit sex scenes, so go into this book knowing what you might read.This one wasn't quite for me, it was a little too dark and spicy.

Madison and Tobias are so hot for each other that it explodes off of every page of this book. These two were destined to meet each other and become each other's soul mate despite their relationship being all about sex to begin with. I cried tears, laughed loudly and loved every bit of this book. Tobias is the ultimate bad boy who only let's his walls down for his person. A perfect must read and the best way to finish the year.
