I bought this for my 8 month old German Wirehaired Pointer as he pulls like a train, initially I needed to get him used to me putting it on him so practised when he was calm using lots of treats. When you first use it, it is likely your dog will try to rub it off on grass, bushes etc but you are best to ignore this and carry on.My dog walks like a dream with this, however please be aware not to pull too hard when correcting your dog, it is meant to be a "gentle" reminder not to surge ahead and pull you, so a gentle pull is all it needs, if you tug too hard you can damage your dog's neck. Love this product, it has saved my arms from being pulled out of their sockets

I have bought several nose collars for my Doberman that always pulls on the lead. I often end up frustrated with her and still keep pulling her back, but this gentle leader really helps. It fits beautiful yon her and doesn't ride up into her eyes like other brands I have tried. Very simply slips over her muddle and clicks into place high up on the neck. Defiantly the most comfortable leader she has worn. Never shy's away from me when I go to put this on her and doesn't spend the hole time trying to get the thing off! Recommend this to anyone having issues with pulling when out dog walking.

Works really well. Bought this on friend’s recommendation for a Cocker spaniel who was constantly pulling. Dog hates it. As she tries to pull away , instead of normal collar and lead pulling in same direction of her travel, the “leader” means the lead is effectively pulling at a point a few inches under her muzzle. So as she tries to move forward her muzzle is pulled down and to the side . We love it. It doesent rub or hurt her. Doesent impact her breathing.She can drink with it on. On pavement she will walk well, on grass however she tries to use the grass to pull it off her !

This is a godsend! It doesn’t stop the pulling, but it allows better control and allows me to interact more positively with my dog. I use it to support training and since using it, my rescue German Shepherd has come on leaps and bounds.The best thing though is the leader removes the super strong pulling. Before, it was only me that could take our beast on walks. Since unsung the gentle leader, my partner is able to walk our dog on her own and feels in control.Bargain item, highly recommended.

This is incredibly easy to use and works beautifully on my young retriever type dog who can pull like a train when particularly keen to get somewhere. I used another make on previous dog and found it effective but more difficult to get on and off. I tried combined halter and harness with present dog but found it impossible to get on and off quickly.

The gentle leader was easy to put on and stopped our dog from pulling. He wasn't keen on it at first but seemed to be getting use to it as the walk progressed. Unfortunately , theclasp jammed the first time we used the leader. We managed to get the leader off our dog but we still can't undo the nose loop. Disappointing. Can't ask for a refund because we didnt get round to trying it out for a few months after we bought it.

This is a great product for dogs that pull.. they don’t love it at first but it works so well.I have these on both my dog leads and just loop over the nose as an when needed. Otherwise it just fixes round the neck so you don’t always have to use the nose loop.Great product, works well.

My big 8 month old standard pulled me of feet.Walked him twice with this on and he settled still tries to remove it at timesbut he is safe and I stay upright. Enjoy walks now
