Overall a good product that needs some refining to accomplish all it sets out to
The velcroed Lastolite mount works but has some wobble and play in it. The wobble is probably due to the fact that you are trying to hold something large at only one end. The adjustment arm is heavy, well built, and allows for an infinite range of movement. This is probably the best feature of the item. The flash mount however is flimsy and ill designed. Additionally, the flash is placed at a fixed point low on the reflector or diffuser. Overall a good product that needs some refining to accomplish all it sets out to.

Not bad, but a bit of a kluge...
I purchased this use with my Lastolite TriGrip reflector (for bounce flash). This idea here is good, but the setup for the Speedlight doesn't seem well thought out. It's a bit cumbersome to get it assembled, and some of the parts (namely the tightening knobs) are made of cheaper plastic and feel like they can break. Because of this, I rarely use the flash piece of this and only use the stand for the TriGrip (which can be angled in any direction once it's on the light stand).I would only use this for bouncing light from a TriGrip reflector. For diffusion, I would go with a simple umbrella solution, or a softbox.

good idea, bad execution
First of all, I received the bracket with one of the plastic knob broken.I love the idea that you hold the reflector at one spot and you can twist and turn it to the position you want but it's not that well made, not with this price. The main problem for me is the connection, not only there are so many connections, but also that they all use plastic knobs which you need to a lot of pressure to tighten it, I feel like I was going to break them. The main connection that allow you to twist and turn the reflector to the position you want doesn't seem to be able to take the weight of the reflector-trigrip, mine trigrip is only 33" imagine if I use 48". I try to tighten it and again, I was afraid to break the plastic knob. The holder that was supposed to grab the trigrip, the length of the slot seems to short, the velcro is on elastic band which allow to much play on the holder--if you don't mind it wobble then it's fine. The longer slot and longer velcro should solve this problem. The tri-grip reflector, not sure if I want to pay that much for what you get in comparison to the typical circular reflector. One Star
Not happy with it, too small on the handle to hold reflector

not bad, it can be improved and could be cheaper
The built quality is OK.The velcro attachment is elastic, which creates some issues in difficult angles where a lot of weight is falling off. At those cases, a not elastic and firm attachment would help a lot.In general the product has a good design and it works, but it needs improvement and it could be less overpriced

too weak for the job
Had high hopes but the velco fixing/bracket is just not strong enough to hold the tripgrip reflector with any degree of control or duration - it starts slipping a few seconds after you fix it in place.Great idea but not fit for purpose.

It's OK
It seems to do the job, but not very well. When I received it there were no instructions on how to assemble it. I first used it and it wouldn't stay up and kept falling apart. I then looked on the internet and found some pictures showing how other people had assembled it. Followed this and it seems ok.The reflector is held on by a Velcro strap, which is not as secure as I'd like, especially if using it outdoors.

rubbish
This is ok with the smaller tri-grip and I've found it useful for that (hence two stars) but when you use it with the big tri-grip it just flops in half because it isn't sturdy enough. They should state this only works with the smaller tri-grip.

Serious Design Flaw
We use this in our studio and I'm now on my second bracket and it has failed after 2 months just like the first one. Basically this would have been a great product BUT the ratchet arm is made of plastic and this is a serious flaw as eventually the plastic teeth on the ratchet break and the arm then just twirls round and is useless. Lastolite need to revise this design immediately. Disappointed .
