I’d highly recommend this camp pad to anyone who wants a little bit of comfort while outdoors. My dad enjoys camping but admits he’d like a bit more cushion when joining us in the Black Hills. He finds it a great improvement over the ground and it’s very easy to use and pack. It collapses to a small roll and mostly inflates on its own. I would recommend you give it a little bit of extra air for it to be really comfy but it works great. So far, it’s held up well and hasn’t any problems with water. Overall, it’s an excellent addition to your camping. I would like to note that it doesn’t take to place of a sleeping bag but simply makes the ground beneath you more comfortable. I usually don’t use a pad but with how well this one has been working for my dad I’ve become tempted. The fact that it is lightweight also helps since we will sometimes camp off trails and carrying gear is really annoying if it has unnecessary weight. The mending kit is a fantastic addition to it even though I haven’t needed it yet. The pad is very durable and holds up even on mildly rocky ground. Having a mending kit with it is very useful so if the pad gets mildly damaged you still have use of it without jury-rigging a half-baked patch for it. Once I run out of patch I’ll update you on what works well for that. As for now, I’ll stick to what was provided. Tempted to buy more of them.

Outperformed my expectations
I purchased this pad to use on my camping cot and it fits perfectly. I was worried that the pad would slip around since it wasn't designed for use on cot, but it didn't shift at all. It was rolled very tightly when it arrived, but had a handy card that explained it well. It also came with a repair kit and two removable straps.I did end up adding more air to it so that I could get it to flatten out fully the first time. The first night I actually slept on it, I think that I over did the air because it was very firm, but after sleeping on it a couple times and letting out some air it made sleeping on my cot better than sleeping on my bed!It is very lightweight but does an amazing job. The air flow was much appreciated after sleeping on blankets, too. The straps that keep it rolled tight are not sewn into the pad, which absolutely love. I can store them in the bag and I don't have to worry about loops tugging at the pad. I do not have any experience with rolling it up yet, because I am storing it inflated and standing flat-ish against wall as suggested unless I need to travel with it.The colors are super vibrant; I got the cyan and lime. I shamelessly ran around showing off my awesome surfboard of a pad and almost had to fight my nephew to be the first to pretend we were surfing. Can attest that it fits one adult and one child imaginary surfer well and is a great cushion when said child decides you didn't survive the giant wave but they did.I fully intend to buy more of these for the summer!

In comparison of REI self-inflating camp mat
My husband used fitness mat before I purchased this item, which is the left one. The right one is REI camp bed 2.5. I am going give some pros and cons of this mat.Pros:1. This mat only cost 1/3 of what I pay for the REI mat which cost 119usd.2, As you can saw in the picture, the size is smaller than REI after I rolling it. It takes up less space.3, definitely more comfortable than a fitness mat which didn't really provide insulation.4, it's lightweight, and self inflating5, It comes with repair kit which is extremely important when you are in outdoor.Cons,1,it's not ultralight weight, you can't really pack it for backpacking,(updates: I already figure it how to pack it back into the original bag, it needs some practice)2, REI provides more cushion and support3, after I used it, I cannot really pack it back into its original bag, whereas you can easily do that for REI one.Summary: Given I only pay 37usd, I would say it's worth for car drving and camp at campground. Because it takes less space than fitness mat and more comfortable. Also, ,this is personal reasons, I really like the neon green and bright blue color.updates:it's stop self-inflating, I have to blow the air in the matt.

2 years now and still going
I've had this Triphunter pad now for like 2 years and I do a lot of camping and bike-touring so I needed something dependable. This has been exactly that. I did have an initial problem with the valve holder, where the epoxy or resin that seats the valve sprung a leak but I was easily able to patch that with gorilla glue, that was a long time ago and I've used this pad now probably over a 100 times camping in various sites (typically over a tarp and in a tent for protection) and have yet to pop any other holes or leaks.I'm a side sleeper and could probably use something a little thicker but this still works for me because it's dependable. Easy to inflate (it halfway self inflates) and rollup is pretty simple. Comes with a nice carry bag which I actually use as a backup pillow (I stuff it with some clothes) because the material is silk-like and comfy. It's not the lightest pad but weight doesn't matter much for me on the bike, backpacking I would consider this a little more.

Easy to use / pack
Used on canoe trip inside Teton sleeping bag. Great combo. Decent comfort. Easy to inflate (10 breaths, max) and deflate. Packed both pad and bag into a 30L dry bag.

Excelente
