third one i've bought.
Ya boy's not smart. I only had to buy a third one because it's so small (which I wanted) I forget it's in my pocket and then try to take it into a place that doesn't allow knives.Museum? "Put that in your car sir."Lowrider show? "Seriously, bro."anyway, great little knife use it all the time.

Great Knife Poor Quality Control
TLDR: I initially got a bad one that was extremely hard to open. I exchanged it and found the replacement to be a night & day difference. (So, if yours is hard to open, exchange it, dont keep thebone you have its faulty.) All in all Its a great knife with some minor set backs. When I first got this knife I was very dissappointed as it was extremely hard to open. I am a man in my 30's that works with my hands all the time. Im also an artist and a guitar player, my hands are strong, sure, & articulate. So, If anyone is going to struggle to open a knife, it shouldnt be me. I tried opening the knife up, lubing it up and readjusting.. nothing I did would help. The thing was a pain. I almost returned it but decided to try exchanging just to make sure. Glad I did, as the new one is a different story. Its not the easiest knife to opwn but its not difficult. And its actually very fidgety. I set and mindlessly open/close it just to keep my hands occupied sometimes.. So if you're one of the many complainong about it bwing difficult to open, exhange it, you probably got a bad one. While I love the knife there are some improvements that need to be made in the initial design... First off the jimping on the front flipper needs to be more aggessive. While its functional as-is, it would really make a world of difference in how easy it is to open if those teeth were a little more grippy. Also, and peobably even more of a concern than the jimping on the flipper... The cutting edge bevel is way too steep. This is a very thin blade that you'd think would/should have a long beveled super slicey cutting edge out of the box. It doesnt. I dont know what the bevel angle is on the Lumi but I wouldnt be surprised to find its somewhere between 35 & 45 degrees. Its not a very functional edge for this blade. I tried to eat an apple with it when I first got it, while most knives you'd lean the knife over almost on the side against the apple to slice the skin.. the Lumi you almost have to cut straight down into the apple before the edge will cut into the skin rather than slide across. Its kind of ridiculous. I ended up reprofiling the edge on mine pretty much immediately to 20 degrees. Its awesome and very slicey now. No idea why Civivi would opt for the edge that they did for the Lumi.Another minor complaint is its really easy to poke yourself with the tip of the blade when opening. I dont have issuea with this now that I got a knofe that opens properly, as I dont struggle or have issues with my fingers wandering into the danger zone due to struggling. But I learned quickly with the first one, that the tip, as soon as the knife is open at all, is very very easy to poke yourself. If your finger or palm is at all in the way, the tip is the first thing out of the gate. As opposed to something with a bit more of a drop where the back of the blade would just hit your hand and bounce back safely into the closed position, its not the case on this one. If you look at the pictures closely you can see the small cuts on my pinky. These pics were of my first one.All in all these are fairly minor complaints that are easily addressed or easy to get used to. I absolutely love mine and wont be parting with it.

Civivi lumi
This little guy is a nice, discrete and pocketable little too for the money. It’s not the best ergonomically due to that front flipper and at first it was very hard to open, however after a few drops of some rem oil and opening and closing, I can open it fairly quickly, just not as fast as a Benchmade bugout. 🤷🏽Honestly, I think for its next iteration it should have a back flipper, and maybe a better steel like D2. Otherwise I’m happy with the purchase since the bug-out mini in orange stuck out like a sore thumb and was more painful to loose. Haha.

Worst knife I’ve ever bought
Flipper was impossible to use one handed. I have zero use for a pocket knife I need two hands to operate. Fan of the brand, not of this model

Not user friendly.
I love the look, the materials, and the idea. The knife is a great tool once you get it open. If you can get it open. I really wanted to love this knife, it looks beautiful. It's light weight, it's sharp, but it's just a pain to open. I have 2 other front flipper knives that are fun and easy to open and close. So it's not that I'm not used to the mechanism, this one just shreds your finger prints right off.

Civivi quality in a gents knife
Small but quality as all civivi knifes are, i use it to whittle and carve wood, or carry it when something larger would be inappropriate, nobody would be intimidated by it but if nessesary it could easily be used to defend yourself, its thin and very slicy with a wicked point, i own several civivi knifes and love them all

Hard to Flip
I had to return the first one and second one opened a little easier. Nice knife but be careful not to drop this one on your foot !!

Love this thing for EDC!
Perfect size for pocket EDC and the top flipper is fun to use! I actually use the belt clip as a money clip and carry it in my pocket. This is definitely a "Gentleman's knife" and you are NOT going to want to pry anything with it, but the point is RAZOR sharp! I like the fact that the Micarta looks like wood, and the shape of the blade makes it look like a prison shank! 🤣
