Surprised by results
Didn't know if this would work but, at the price, worth a try before throwing out the crystal glass.Pleasantly surprised this file worked so well!Don't need to throw out the glass now!

It worked fairly well, it's a good idea to have a practice before using it on precious glassware

Does what it says on the tin!
I chose this item because I have a few crystal items with chips. The diamond file is fine on small chips, but I wouldn't recommend it for larger chips as I do not feel the surface is large enough to deal with bigger chips. Not sure how long it will last either as I have used it on several of my items and can already see wear to the file!

It's not cheap, but it certainly seems to do the job. I have used it successfully on both glass and crockery. No signs of wear - yet.

Save your glassware
I used it to smooth off a chip in a cut glass bowl which had belonged to my mother-in-law, Can be used safely again.
