Instructions for making jelly (jello)
Great value, but no instructions for use.I bought this to make low calorie, sugar free jellies (jello). Great snack if you're on a diet.Method:For a reasonably firm mouldable jelly use 2 level measuring teaspoons per 500ml finished quantity of liquid. For a firm mouldable jelly use 2.5 level measuring teaspoons (or 1 level measuring tablespoon) per 500ml finished quantity.Put 60ml cold water in a measuring jug and sprinkle the gelatin onto the surface of the water.Leave to soak (or 'bloom') for 5 minutes (this is a necessary step).Add 60ml of boiling water and stir for around 2 minutes until all the gelatin has dissolved. If it hasn't all disolved just blast it for 30 seconds in the microwave and stir again. Then add sufficient strongly flavoured sugar free cordial to make up to 500ml.Pour into individual servings and cool in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.I can't give you the quantities of cordial as it will depend on the brand you buy, but if you make it stronger than you would drink it takes account of the 120ml of gelatin liquid already in the jug.500ml makes about 3 yoghurt pot size jellies, around 10 calories each. Much nicer and better flavours than shop bought sugar free jellies. Please rate my review if you found it helpful.

Joint pain...Gone.
I have waited until 9 months to review this product, I got it as I had heard that Gelatin is good for connective tissue. All I can say is that I have been able to take up exercising with free weights again as the constant pain in my elbow has disappeared. This did not happen overnight, in fact it took a few Months before I noticed a difference. Some might say this had nothing to do with the Gelatin but I don't have any other explanation for a problem that has been plaguing me for Years, to disappear.I take 3 teaspoons in a glass of cold water every day, and will continue to do so.

That is a good gelatin
That is a good gelatin, strong as expected, does not change the taste. I mostly use it to make jelly fruits, 4 tablespoons are enough for 1 liter (liquid + fruits) to make a very strong jelly to my taste. I put the gelatin is a small pot, add some water, up to 60-70ml, wait for 10 mins to absorb it, and then turn the heat on to the minimum possible until it melts well (3-4 mins). By that time you need to have your compote ready so as soon as the gelatin is ready and hot, add it to the compote, stir well, put it in glasses or wherever you like and store it in a fridge for 8 hours to achieve max strength.

Bad-smelling product and abysmal customer service from Classikool!
Well, here is my experience. I attempted to dilute the gelatine in warm water and the product smelled awful - of unmentionable things. The aroma was so off-putting that no-one was able to consume the meal for which this gelatine was used. I should not have minded a strong pork aroma, but this gelatine's smell was horrendous and did not resemble meat - or anything suitable for human consumption - in any way, shape or form. I don't believe that the gelatine is any stronger or more effective than any other brand, as the seller claims, as I had to add a considerable amount to achieve a soft jelly (I have used other brands of gelatine before, which had no such issues). The product was well within the use-by date and is supposedly of "top quality", so I was very disappointed. Worse still, when I contacted the seller regarding this issue, the response was not at all helpful and, furthermore, written in a rather aggressive, conceited tone which suggested that nothing could possibly be wrong with the product (I quote - "our wonderful gelatine"), and that the scent was a matter for perception. This could not be the case, as several people came to the same conclusion. The seller also suggested that the situation was somehow my fault and all in my head! I note several positive reviews below, and so perhaps I was sent a bad batch, but this would not compensate for the seller’s apparent and most unfortunate rudeness and complete unwillingness to assume for a moment that a consumer could be right. Overall, I cannot recommend this product and seller less. Abysmal customer service and substandard quality of product in my case.

Great price and value Appreciate minimal but substantial packaging
Ive had problem finding the correct ratios because my recipes have been splitting or Not setting. Company replied I should continue with trial and error because 240 bloom is twice as strong as 120 bloom so should use half as much. This did not answer my enquiry. As I make this recipe everyday I’m looking for an easy measure for consistent results. It is an excellent price and value but I would also like consistent results and no failed dishes. It would be outstanding and 5 star review if I could find the correct ratios or measures to use.

Superbe
I love this stuff, I use it to make puddings mostly, It's pretty strong stuff, but why waste it on special effect make up.Make sure you completely bloom the gelatin otherwise it will not dissolve in the hot water, I normally leave mine in about 4 times as much water for 15 minutes, and it will have swollen up and absorbed all of the water, then the merest hint of just boiling water (not boiling water as it will break down the gelatin) will dissolve it into a very usable and tasteless gelatin. If you do not bloom it fully, you realise you are eating pig skin

Great gelatin - best I could find in UK
I was really happy with this gelatin, being some of the cheapest I could find in the UK. The quality and consistency of it was impressive.I really want some organic gelatin but so hard to find, so settled for this.I've mostly been using it to make jelly with milk/fruit juices or smoothies. I heat around 1 litre of liquid up in a pan, add 2-4 tablespoons of gelatin, then 2-4 tablespoons of white sugar (the final product loses sweetness), then stir over medium heat until all dissolved (usually 10 minutes or so). Afterwards let it cool a bit then place into fridge/freezer

The MOLLE sheath is of exceptional quality. Very happy with my purchase.
You should always \"Bloom\" your gelatin in either water or juice but when using juice be careful not to use tropical fruits as they harm the gelatin. Soak the granules in at least 3 to 4 times their own weight of cold liquid and leave to stand for at least 30 to 35 minutes. Once this is done heat it over a double boiler but make sure not to boil the gelatin as this will heavily impact the strength if not completely.
Safety Warning
Keep out of the reach of children. May contain traces of nuts.
