Pleasantly surprised
Scrapping the ice off windscreens is a pretty boring and annoying task in the middle of winter. With most scrapers you have to chip away but it doesn't get it all off the ice so you have to redo some bits plus there's the horrible sound. When I switched cars I couldn't find my ice scrapers so I thought I would give the ice plane a try to see what all the fuss is about. Now I am very happy I did. This removes the ice in a nice easy sweep, I don't have to chip away at it. It is just smooth, easy and surprisingly satisfying to remove the ice in a few swoops. When I'm at work with myself and my colleagues all heading to our cars on an icy day, for them it seems like such a struggle and a chore to remove the ice with the usual scrapers, however with the iceplane, it is a quick and easy doddle. I don't have to turn the engine/heating on, I just smoothly scrape all the ice away and I'm off. I've usually finished my car well they're still doing the windscreen it's that quick! I was so impressed by this product that I bought a few more for my family. Sods law it turns out to be a mild winter but it is always in the car ready.

Clears windscreens faster
Early March and still frosty. I need to get to work and the the car window's frosted up. After trying to find the scraper I've had for years, it used to belong to a cabinet freezer, spent ages scraping the frost off. I'd seen these on the local news when they interviewed the inventor. What the heck, it's cheap. Bought one and used it the next morning. It's really, really good. None of the trying to find the right angle to attack the windscreen, it works pushing up and down so clears the windows faster and it's narrow enough to do the corners of my side windows. I'm really, really pleased with it. Well worth the price, I'll keep this in the glove box. The following week it rained overnight and I got up to find full ice on the windscreen. Cursed. Figured I'd try it to see what would happen. Tackled full ice with little more effort than it did frost. Really, really pleased.

Seems to work well
Used a few times this winter. The plus points are that it cleans glass fine ( only tried it to -4 degrees) and keeps your hand away from the ice. It comes with very specific instructions on how to use it, but I must confess that I have forgotten them already, if they are that important they should be printed on the blades!

Excellent ice scraper.
I love these ice scrapers and have bought several over the past three years for myself and for family and friends. The double blades scrape the ice in double quick time and the spongy part to hold provides a good grip. It fits neatly in the car door pocket. There is also a pink version available, which is pretty and practical. My husband and sons are very impressed with how well they work. Good value for money.

Worth a punt as it does a good job
Does a good job and am sure I'll be using it for a long while, but main issue is that the edges which will be scrapping the ice where not perfectly smooth when it arrived. After some use last winter the edges soon started to get nicks and dents, and my main concern is that as a result this bumpy uneven surface may damage my wind screen. I recognise this is a relatively cheap item, but a little more design and a few pounds added to the price for a better material would make all the difference.

Best car ice scraper I have ever owned
Having purchased many ice scrapers over the years and finding that de-icer does not seem to do the job properly these days (doesn't seem to melt the ice like it used to and causes the ice to go opaque and freeze again) and my very, very old scraper (which had been okay but was not now working efficiently through age) I decided to give this a go. Very reasonably priced, so there would be nothing lost. Well, I was amazed! I cleared the rear window, the windscreen and the offside two windows swiftly and easily. Consequently I no longer dread waking up to find that I need to de-ice the car. The design is brilliant and makes the job so easy and is very comfy to use. Well done to the designer - such a simple but very efficient piece of useful equipment. Definitely recommended.

Brilliant!
I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my wife. I've used mine a couple of times and have found it does what it says it does. Press it onto the glass and use it to scrap off ice! The ice comes away more easily than with my old scraper and you can clear all but really hard ice in one go. The plastic it's made from does have fairly pointed edges, so follow the instructions and scrape towards rubber seals otherwise you will probably damage them. It works better than the cheap Halfords scrapers, is smaller and does the job.

good quality & best ever auto ice scraper
Ive got four of these now & they are the best ever car window ice scraper ever. got four not because they broke but because they are so good gave one each to my sons for their cars. had many scrapers in my time but these really are the bee's knees sturdy & well made & the added bonus is that being of an inverted V shape two scraping surfaces contact the glass at the same time which has double the scraping effect. whoever thought this one up really does deserve a medal. the only - point i could make is perhaps might be improved with being a wee bit larger as in wider to have just a little bit more scraping surface but this is only a minor niggle & perhaps if it was a bit wider it might flex a bit so maybe thats why it is the width it is. It certainly does make light work of the hastle of scraping your windows on frostly/icy mornings. take my advice & im sure you wont be disappointed these knock the spots off all other scrapers ive ever had. nuff said
