Rug to carpet adhesion poor
We have a dirt trapper rug on top of a carpet and it keeps wandering off. The bottom of the rug is rubbery and the carpet is short pile. I didn’t expect miracles from this product but was hoping for slightly better results than achieved. Instead of having to drag the mat back about a foot every day, it’s down to a few inches. I’m sure it would work much better on a hard floor but it did advertise as being suitable for rug to carpet.

Extremely sticky but failed after 1 wash.
Have used this befor and is really good stops any movement of my 2 rugs on laminate floor when the puppy jumps around on them and my labradoor from sliding right across the room on them they don't budge. Downside is as its so sticky it collects alot of mess that's fine but washed it once and it stopped being sticky so now useless when it says washable. Dont know if just a one off problem so will get another and see as not expensive and really works better then anything else iv tried. Will update on next one after its first wash 3 stars simply because said washable but didn't work after. Other then that can't fault it. FYI it dose leave a sticky residue on the floor but comes off easy.

Not perfect but...
I bought 2 of these to place under rugs that sit on top of pile carpet (about 12mm). One rug has nothing on top of it, the other one has a coffee table and this was the one that showed the worst 'rug wander'. Every day this rug would wander up to 20cm in one direction. This was towards a wall and hence rucking and bunching occurred on a daily basis, not only was this a pain to sort out it could prove dangerous if someone was to trip over the edge.I installed and trimmed this underlay as it was very slightly too large for either rug, I'm happy to say that things have improved quite a lot. OK things aren't perfect but I would estimate now that the movement of each rug is 2cm only needing occasional re-adjustment rather than constant. The texture of these things is very odd and rightly so, they are fleece like but have a tacky feel to them as a result they stick very well to the carpet and the rugs can be adjusted by just dragging them back into place this doesn't effect the position of the underlay on top of the carpet.

Rug Moves Less
I bought a rug for my new home that has new carpets but the rug kept moving and gathering. I bought 2 packs as they are quite small and put them between the rug and the carpet. It hasn't stopped the rug moving completely but it does move far less than without it, I wouldn't expect the rug not to move at all. I would imagine it depends on the thickness and fibres in the carpet and rug but overall I am happy with the item.

Not very adhesive
Used to secure a rug in my sons bedroom, rug still moves though not as much, maybe my expectations were too great, had hoped it would hold rug in place but I still have to reposition it

Does exactly what it says on the tin
Reasonably priced, effective item.

Improves, but doesn't fix (on carpet)
Rubber backed rug on regular carpet - the rug was always a mess, getting kicked over, buckled etc. This stuff takes away the worst of that but doesn't fix completely. I'm ok with that, I'm having to make minor adjustments every couple of days, rather than it only ever being straight for minutes. If that's ok for you and you're not expecting a complete fix then could be worthwhile. May be better or worse if the mat wasn't rubber backed, I don't know.

Not great, not terrible
It worked quite well for around a month on a thick pile carpet, stopping a rug from creeping too much.It started to lose its tackiness, so washed as per the instructions but it never regained the stickiness that it had when new.I'll still use it for the time being as it's still better than not having it.To be fair, my carpet has a very thick pile which causes rugs to creep very easily, so I'm probably expecting too much.
