Love the storage
I love how much storage this provides in my kitchen. The two sides with rails are filled with oils and cooking wines ect. The other 2 sides hold most of my baking supplies. I don't know if it is sturdy enough to put my kitchen aid on but we did not run power to the stand so I am not using that feature anyway. It is a little taller than I expected. I admit I didn't look as close at the detentions because I figured it would be counter height. I am 5'5, and it is just slightly too high but still completely usable. I do all my food prep on it.I had an issue with one of the drawers not being cut straight. The manufacturer sent a replacement piece and I was able to finish the assembly without having to ship anything back. I appreciated that because Amazon wanted the entire thing returned or they were going to ship a new one and I would have to take the part out and ship that one back. I did not want that hassle. It is pretty heavy and that would be a pain. Just to bring it in the house my BF opened the box outside and brought pieces in that way.The time it took to get answers from the manufacturer was a bit frustrating. I was on a time limit for the deadline of the Amazon return and they took a long time to answer any emails. They asked for me to be patient and I never got an email that said it had shipped or a tracking number or anything. One day the part was in the mail box.As far as assembly, it wasn't too hard for my BF to put together. It took him a few hours. The down side is that the hardware was not adequate and so he used his own. Some of the screws were just not the right size to get the job done.Overall, I am happy with the end result. It is so functional in my kitchen which was really in need of storage.

Solid product, useful except for the power strip.
It went together with little issues. Some comments, the counter hight is about 2” higher than a standard counter. At 6” 4’ I love it. The work surface is good and large. The drawers are wide but shallow, so you can’t put long items like spoons end to end, they need to be stored sideways. We couldn’t put our silverware tray into the drawer (a smaller one might fit). Good open storage on one side. I can store my instapot on the open shelves, and most spices and such on the sides. The enclosed storage is pretty good as well. The power cord is a issue, and my biggest complaint. It is totally ignored in the design. The outlets and USB charging ports a great, very handy. The power cord, not so much. It is not routed in any way! The outlet module nicely nests into the island and you’re stuck holding the cord, with nowhere to put it.I ended up disassembling the island a bit, drilling a hole behind the panel, drilling a hole in the back corner of the interior shelf, and one in the bottom of the unit. I then pinned the cable along the bottom of the countertop and down the back of the storage area, and added larger slider feet to the island so there was room for the plug. The original feet were too low.I then got a cable router and an extension cord and connected to an outlet on the wall. It works great, but they should provide you with a routing method you don’t have to create like I did. Or at least some options.

Great for storage!
Bought a house with nearly no storage space compared to my old kitchen. This was the largest kitchen island I could find online and fit perfectly into my space. I assembled it alone, and it took a few hours (3-4). There are a LOT of pieces and parts, but the instructions were good and the finished product turned out great. There are also special hinged on the doors to adjust/reposition them if needed so they're guaranteed to turn out even. It has an open storage space and a closed cabinet opposite, with drawers on both sides, which are great for our utensils, Tupperware, and appliances. The outlets make it easy to use as the main kitchen counter space, and it's completely sturdy under my heavy kitchen aid mixer. There are spice racks on both sides, which we do keep our oils and main seasonings in, and though they're too shallow for say, a bag of flour/sugar, they are perfectly sized to fit large seasoning containers, soda cans, etc.All in all, I would recommend for people that need kitchen storage and counter space, and have the room for it. It's true to measurement, and I've already gotten a lot of compliments on it, despite not having even painted the rest of the kitchen to match yet. This is the best purchase I made for my kitchen and I 100% recommend if you're patient enough to put it together.

Updated customer service is helpful eventually
Arrived broken. Have been emailing with the manufacturer to get the piece replaced and its a HUGE headache. At first they insisted it wasnt a problem theyd send me the part out. Now after sending tracking, the order numebr, my adress, they want screenshots of all the information ive already given them. Now its that i have to wait for them to order the part from china which was supposed to take three days for them to send out, its been a week and im wondering if they are just stalling till the return window closes.Update:Took three weeks to get a replacement piece but they also sent me a whole new island which was nice of them. It goes together and when its together its solid. Its particle board with a space where they popped some typa fake wood piece over it thats textured which splinters and breaks with just a lil bit of pressure or if you drop it. Would i buy this again. No. Is it okay for now. Yea. The top is solid. You can lean on it, cook on it, chop veggies on it. Storage is nice in the sides. I use it for all my tea. Power strip is handy as it also has a usb. Put this together with two people, pay attenstion to the directions and try to apply very little pressure when screwing things in, a drill on the lowest setting is great also getting the top in youll def need a mallot.
