Revell 07100 Mercedes SLS AMG Model Kit

The kit is good and detailed I purchased it as a present for my nephew. I didn't realise that it was only the model and you have to order paints, glue and brushes separate. It became very costly and because if this I dont think it was good value for money. I guess for people who regularly build these kits and have all the necessary bits and Bob's it might prove a good buy.

Easy to follow instructions, fun to build

I build a lot of models but messed this one up compared to my normal quality. Whilst I would like to blame the model, it was mainly my fault. The moulds that made the parts are clearly quite recent as there is barely any bleed on the pieces.I think some of the parts are simply too small though to be able to glue and keep it both secure and tidy. The glass backs on the door mirrors for instance. Photos attached of the finished article.

This model kit was sent on time and in good condition. Well made kit, a lot of detail will not even be seen. If you want to do a garage diorama with this kit the level of detail allows the removal of parts that have detail beneath making for a very versatile model.
