It works better than I imagined.
My scalp has been itchy for years. I have tried numerous products to no avail. I do not have dandruff. I’ve gone to two dermatologists who told me many people’s scalp start to itch by just thinking about it. I started getting my hair washed & dried weekly. After telling my hair stylist about my itchy scalp she started applying this Paul Mitchell scalp treatment product on my scalp and to my surprise it worked. I am taking biotin pills, collagen powder with my coffee along with this Paul Mitchell product when my scalp itches. Now I am using this treatment less & less. The real plus is at age 83 I’m getting new hair growth.

Haven't noticed anything yet...
I got this with the hopes it would make my scalp "better". My scalp is super oily, probably because I have lost about 90% of my once-thick hair (I have an autoimmune disorder), and my pores are still making enough oil for all the hair that's now gone. Probably due to all the oil, I get pimples on my scalp, and I have to wash more often than I would want. It would be nice to go a few days between washes! I've been putting this very watery serum on my scalp almost daily, and I'm not really sure if anything is happening so far. I've been using it for a couple of weeks, so I need to give it more time. The bottle is kind of small, so I don't know how much longer it will last to see any results. I plan on putting in hair extensions soon and my head gets extremely itchy where the extensions are attached, so I'm hoping the zinc in this will help with that. I plan on updating this review in the future. So far, I find it non-irritating, not sticky, and not oily. So that's good!

For Over 42 Years Paul Mitchell Has Been a Brand You Can Trust for Quality Hair Care!
I was excited about being able to test the Paul Mitchell Scalp Therapy Drops. My scalp has always been on the dry side and although this product is touted as being for the full spectrum of scalps including dry, oily and sensitive scalps I wanted to see how it would work for myself. For an "old guy" my hair is pretty thick so I was wondering how only applying several drops on my scalp would work (based on their suggested usage as noted below the product description) but after reading their description on the box it suggests using up to 3 ml's which made much more sense to me than thinking that several drops would suffice for my entire scalp. Based on my using the 3 ml amount for each application I can cover my entire scalp and from their 50 ml bottle I will end up using it for approximately 16 individual treatments from the 50 ml bottle which should be plenty to determine how well it will work for my particular scalp over the next month. On their dropper they have two fill lines, one for 0.5 ml and 1.0 ml so don't feel bad if it takes up to 3 applications at the 1.0 ml amount to cover your entire scalp. So far after just my initial application all is well with my scalp and the daily itching has subsided considerably over what I'm used to.Personally, the light scent that it contains is very pleasant and once applied I can't even tell that it exists. Paul Mitchell has a Clean Beauty Hydrate Shampoo along with a Conditioner for my dry scalp which should if used prior to the application of the Scalp Serum complement one another and help resolve any dry scalp issues. The Clean Beauty line from Paul Mitchell also touts ingredients sourced from a biodynamic farm in Tuscany which tells me that they are firmly committed to not having the synthetic additives that exist in most of today's hair care products.Yes, the Paul Mitchell line of hair care products is expensive compared to many other well-known brands of hair care products being sold today but if you happen to visit your top salons located in your towns you will find that, most if not all, carry the Paul Mitchell products for two reasons and those are that they have provided a top-quality product over the 42 years they've been doing business and their products work as advertised. Good luck with your hair treatment selections based on your personal hair and scalp conditions, I hope they work as well for you, as they have for me...

Relief on contact
The media could not be loaded. Like some people have "combination skin," I think I have a "combination scalp." It can be greasy, it can be dry, but either way - it's always itchy. I was excited to try these drops because I trust Paul Mitchell products to be good for my hair and me. These drops do not disappoint! As per the directions, I sectioned my hair and applied three droppers-full over my entire scalp. It felt AMAZING on my irritated scalp, right on contact. It felt cool and soothing on my scalp. Not really tingly, but I could definitely tell something had been applied. I used a scalp-massager brush to really rub it throughout my hair and scalp, and I thought that worked well to evenly distribute it. This product did not really leave my hair greasy after it absorbed, but I'll probably stick to using it the night before I plan to wash my hair or on wet hair immediately after washing it. The only drawback is that I did use (and need) the full 3 droppers-full for my head, so I'm not sure how many applications this small bottle will last me. It could get pricey. But this serum really feels good, smells good and works. Thanks.

Soothes my itchy flaky scalp
Paul Mitchell Clean Beauty Scalp Therapy Drops.Like, Better than expected! This serum soothes my dry scalp (itchy, flaky and dry scalp from dry weather, heater, hair coloring) without making it appear oily! I was worried it might be oily and thus weigh down my hair or make my hair and hair line look oily but it doesn't! The serum is moderately dense but not oily and more watery I think. The clear serum has a moderate thickness, liquid/water-like serum consistency that absorbs quickly. The serum dispenses through a long dropper. I apply the dropper along my scalp while slowly dispensing the serum. It's long so it easily reaches my scalp.Has a light pleasant scent.Made in Italy. It's color Safe. Vegan. Sulfate Free (without SLS, SLES, ALS): Paraben Free. Gluten Free. Per the description its infused with grapevine sap, chamomile extract, zinc, and 92% natural origin ingredients.Effective scalp treatment!

Rarely use it
I rarely need it, if I do it'll be after I dye my hair. Usually my poor scalp is sore after and dry. Dew drops, don't over do it or your scalp will look like it's not been washed.
