Emergency rain jacket
After having to spend £6.99 on a one use plastic poncho to keep dry getting caught out in an unexpected downpour at a summer outdoor racing event when the opportunity to get this re-usable poncho raincoat came up it made sense to order one.Despite what the manufacturer claims this is not a stylish or fashionable raincoat and it does not look great with jeans, trainers or a dress. This raincoat is the least stylish and least fashionable bit of clothing I have ever owned, other than the one use poncho I was forced in to buying of course. The manufacturer claims this raincoat is suitable for fishing, hiking and camping, which is a little far fetched. Fishing, hiking, camping and other similar activities require tough and sturdy clothing and this raincoat simply isn’t durable enough. The build quality isn’t really bad and, provided you don’t give it too much hard and use it only to keep the water off, I don’t see any reasons why it wouldn’t last for several rainstorms. Similarly, the button fastening isn’t the best quality I have seen but it is more than adequate for multiple uses. You do need to take care when undoing the buttons and not simply rip the coat apart as the buttons may pull through the plastic. This raincoat is a single size at 145cm x 70cm and the fit will depend entirely on the size, build and shape of each user. As you’d expect the smaller you are the more coverage you get and (Potentially) the drier you will be.Where this raincoat shines is in situations where you could get caught up in an unexpected downpour, just like my experience at the racing circuit. Since this coat is very lightweight, packs up really small, is quite large and dries very quickly it is something you can chuck in a side pocket of a bag and have it on you at all times. At a cost of £4.99 (at the time of review) for a waterproof poncho it is easy to see, especially when compared to my £6.99 single use poncho, this Welsberg raincoat is cheap and top value for money.

Cheap, handy emergency raincoat
This raincoat cries out for a carry bag, but I guess that would increase the price. As it is, it's fairly thin and not at all sturdy but should last quite a while in normal use. Judging by its size on me, a fairly loose fit for a size 16. That means it's not going to be big enough for larger ladies or well-built men. It squashes up fairly small (I used elastic bands) and lives in the boot of my car now. It's small enough to carry around, even though you may well only use it now and then - it would tuck into a rucksack or larger bag reasonably well, but not into a handbag. Good value for its price.

great as an emergency, not for long term.
First thing first, this poncho is not for a regular use but for an emergency. The material is ethylene and vinyl acetate (EVA), it's not woven so it's not flexible like normal raincoat. It comes in one size, so it's really long and wide for someone lilke me who is short and small. When it rains really heavy I could cover my rucksack and myself, and there'll still be some room! It comes with a hood so it'll protect you from downpour... apart from my lower legs and feet. Great for travelling.

Reusable raincoat for me and women
In recent months I have changed the way I look at winter. I used to spend a lot of time at home, now I've started buying everything I need to go out in the rain, snow, and sunny days. This raincoat is reusable. Suitable for me and my husband. It's quite long for me, I'm 158cm tall, and this raincoat is 145cm long, which is good, let's say, so it covers me more.It has a hood that has strings in order to cover the head more effectively and prevent the hair from getting wet.It is a shame it doesn't have elastic on the wrists. The price is good, and affordable.Recommended.

Good to keep in the car for emergencies
We often get caught out by the rain and its ussialy pretty windy around here so a brolly can ussually be a bad idea unless you to get blown into the sky. This is a handy option. It folds up tiny and can easily fit into the glove bow or any compartment of your car. Unfold and its semi clear plastic with a few push buttons on the front and a hood. It gives good protection from the rain and is sized ok so it will fit most people. Probably no larger than an xl.Good product and cheap to. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful.

It is super basic, very thin, looking bit medical but it is waterproof and super cheap, so I am all for it. 5/5
