Bird Photographer of the Year: Collection 2

Well, if I am honest I was so looking forward to receiving this book having read all the complimentary reviews but I was actually disappointed by the emphasis on arty-fartiness. Yes,they are certainly unusual angles and cleverly shot but I was hoping to see more defined pictures of the actual subjects, on some I could barely make out the subject. Maybe I would be better going for a more 'Natural World of Birds`type of book, sorry, just not for me. Thinking about it, I would be more interested in seeing the pictures that were rejected on selection for this book, now that would be interesting.

I never write reviews, this I had to though. What a load of rubbish.I expected to find photography like the front cover which is beautiful.Everything else is junk though, seriously bad. Don’t waste your money.

If you have any interest in bird photography then this book is for you. It is full of inspiring images from all over the world and although most of us aren't likely to get to all these places the images are pretty much guarantied to make you want to get out and take some of your own pictures

A truly gorgeous book with some stunning photography. I bought it for a friend and would have liked to have kept the book for myself when it arrived. The person receiving the present was wowed by the pictures. Great for bird lovers and people with a real appreciation for an amazing photograph.

I bought this book as a present for a friend who loves birds. The photographs are beautiful and the presentation could not be better. Our friend was really delighted.

I really enjoy looking through this book as it inspires me to see through other people's eyes when looking at photos and not just threw a lens.
