Stunning Mini Egg Lamp, Mosaic Glass - Bronze

Was very pleased with this lamp. It arrived promptly and very well packed. It is very unusual and looks fabulous when lit. Also very good value for money. I might even get another one in a different colour for my lounge. I would recommend this for anyone who wants something just a little bit different.

I found the mosaic design of this lamp appeared cheap, not happy with the way it looked at all, prompt and efficient delivery and no problems with refund

First the positive aspects: the glass is solid and seems good quality; I liked the mosaic effect.The downsides:1. The springs on the ones I received were far too tight - so much so you almost needed two people to get the shades onto the base. I was worried that in releasing the springs the force would be great enough to break the glass (that didn't happen but I did hurt my finger). 2. I looked at the red and the gold versions first and one of them (gold) said the lamps take a 60W bulb so I assumed they all did but in fact they only take a 25W bulb which is not very bright at all. In the end I chose the bronze and didn't notice the different spec bulb. 3. The bronze colour is too dark, especially combined with only a 25W bulb, even for mood lighting I found it insufficient. 4. The plastic base is not anything like as good quality as the glass which lets the whole show down in my opinion and makes me feel that they are not worth the price. Metal would have been far preferable and I think safer.I've given 3 stars even though there are more negatives than positives because not all the springs might be tight, I might just have been unlucky; some people might not object to the dim light or mind the plastic base. I confess to being a bit picky. Also the red and gold versions might be a tad brighter. It comes down to individual preferences in the end. Suffice to say that they (I had two) did not meet my expectations. A recent purchase and after a few days to think about it I decided to return them which was a painless process.

Arrived very well packaged , as others have said before , it is a lot darker than the picture here ,was not sure ,but it comes to life as soon as you switch it on , looks lovely .

I bought this lamp for my parents for Christmas as they admired the larger one that I have. Its beautiful! Yes, as reported before it is slightly darker than the representation in the picture but this does not detract from the lovely glow it gives out. And incredible value for the money! Love it!!

I got this to put into my yoga studio and I have had lots of compliments. I really love it and very very glad that I got it :)

the picture is not a true representation, off the bronze lamp appears much darker, on no real colour evident . adequate

Excellent small light - looks good on and off - only adverse comments are it has a short lead and uses a very small screw bulb - which aren't always easy to obtain
