Poor poor quality of customer service
Bought this item because Mikuni are surpose to be a good quality. Bought for my 125cc. The idle is horrendous. Asked them, what jet I should be using. They haven't got a clue. Avoid like the plague if your a newbie to carbs.

Not convinced that this is a genuine Mikuni Carb
After fitting this all seemed ok apart from it running a little lean at idle. Did the necessary Fuel/air mix adjustment and came to the conclusion that the pilot jet needed to go up one size.However, upon opening up the carb bowl, two things happened:The gasket, up on coming into contact with some residual petrol began to expand and now no longer fits (luckily I has a spare at hand that doesn't) which in itself was worrying.The Idle jet appeared to be different to most standard Mikuni types. I tried to replace it with a VM28/486 (same as my previous VM22), VM22/210 and a M224.103. None fit.I sent an enquiry both directly and via the product question page some time ago. Neither has elicited a response.It gets a very generous two stars as it seems to work despite having to put up with low throttle bogging but I would consider looking elsewhere, and if you're looking for a genuine Mikuni, ask the seller first what jets are needed....
