Shipped loose in its original plain box, the KwikSafety reel nonetheless arrived in perfect condition, the only thing awry being a loose handle screw (easily fixed, obviously).The casting is good with no burrs or flash, rotation is smooth with no catches. Paint is fine. No markings other than the usual on and off with arrows, plus KwikSafety's logo. Cover spins on and off smoothly and holds firmly with the usual extra tap in the on direction.All-in-all, this reels seems better than the generics I've seen and as good a build as the K. A little grease or oil on the spindle (to prevent rust) and you're good to go.Good reel. American company.

Works just as well as the top name brands and just as durable. Won't break the bank either.

I wouldn’t recommend, I thought it looked cool and all and it was significantly cheaper than a Klein, but it turnes out i should’ve spend the few extra bucks and went with Klein. It’s NOT good btw, it’s very heavy and it can be a real pain to keep it from binding up.
