Nalgene ATB All-Terrain Bottle, Natural, 32oz

These are a must. They are squeezable so you don't have to pour out the liquid. They have a plastic cap that covers the mouthpiece to keep undesirable things from getting on it. They are reasonably durable and my original ones are nearly 10 years old now and still function well. The only complaint is the cap breaks fairly easily if you are careless and I am. I have just used the two with broken caps for hockey where the caps get in the way. The other 4 (or is it 6 now) get rotated regularly through work, camping, vacations, pool, park... you get the picture they work everywhere. They also fit everywhere the classic hard plastic Nalgene bottles fit. I also have purchased about 6 of the 16 oz versions for bike racks and children and they work equally as well.

this nalgene version is one of the best. I fill mine completely with ice and then add water and it is good for a day trip with the kids.- squeezable- has a pop-top for easy access to water- top cover protects the drinking spout from getting too dirty- fairly easy to clean- large mouth for easy filling with ice- can see thru but is a bit frosty- durable, my other one has lasted 8+ yrs now and still going strong- I added a carry case to this to prevent the outer sweat and also to add a clip so i could attach to stroller or bag (search nalgene holder or carrier, but honestly i found mine cheaper at local walmart)strongly recommend

If you love Nalgene bottles but hate he wide mouth and don't like trying to retain the little spill prevention inserts this is the bottle for you, it's also a soft squeezable plastic which is nice. Because of the easy pop open cap I drink more water.This bottle does have two downsides. I believe the good outweighs the bad but here they are.• The cap that flips open is not attached super securely and breaks easily (say if you have a one year old maniac for a child who insists on destroying everything he comes in contact with)• The lid has to be screwed on super tight otherwise it will leak slightly as you squeeze the bottle to quench your thirst, you then get your shirt all wet and look like an idiot.

Great bottles and good customer service too. I keep these bottles with me always, especially in hot weather. Wide mouth for ice, good lids, leakproof. Fit in any 32oz holder. The spuot cover is a little wimpy, it keeps the spuot clean and free of bugs and dirt but don't drop it.

My original has lasted two decades and I still use it! The new one works just as well, but another I got for a girlfriend leaked at the threads due to the top being defective. Make sure to test immediately when ordering and return if defective. My favorite features of this bottle are that it doesn't leak, it is easy to operate one handed, is unlikely to break with normal usage, it is clear so you can see contents, it is soft so it can be squeezed to accelerate drinking or be used for spraying out a pot, and it is affordable. It has a standard size mouth and can accommodate water bottle carbon filters but you'll need to squeeze hard so I only do that when traveling ultra light.

It is more flexible than I expected but I do like that for day and multi-day hikes. I like that the mouthpiece is covered and does not open while on the trail. The light color allows me to readily see how much or little of liquid I've consumed. I'm not able to use it with smaller packs, either in the side mesh pocket or laying down inside the pack; I was able to do this once and it DID NOT leak. But I purchased it for its weight, clarity, and secure mouthpiece cover and am not disappointed. I recommend this product and will buy another one when needed.

I bought this bottle to replace one exactly like it that I had carried for 15 years. I like the bottle because I can pop the top open and take a drink, all with one hand. It usually stays in my car, but I also take it backpacking with me. Nalgene makes a great product. Be careful with the top, though - if you drop the bottle when full and it lands on the top, the top will crack and then it won't stay closed. Fortunately, you can order replacement tops from Nalgene.

We heard from our boy scout leader that Nalgene was the way to go when looking for a durable, long lasting water bottle. The plastic flip cap broke after a month and now, 6 months later) the bottle cap leaks when not right-side up. Very disappointed but I was told by the leader that Nalgene will replace the item if I contact them. I'd rather buy a durable item that I don't have to deal with the hassle of returning/replacing.
