Cora 000120009 Steering Wheel Knob with Key

I was about to have surgery in my right wrist when I purchased this item. I practiced for about three weeks before surgery. The surgery was more extensive than anticipated and three bones were removed from my wrist. After four weeks consultant allowed me to drive as I have an automatic vehicle. I still have a splint and the ball is excellent allowing me to rest my right arm on the door armrest when not required. An excellent device and would recommend it if you need assistance to steer.

My daughter has arthritis in her hands, and she finds this knob helps greatly and would recommend it. However, it only earns 3 stars because of the difficulty in installing it: the design clearly intended that the bottom nut would be square and thus captive, so that the supplied hex key would be sufficient. However, that captive nut has been replaced by an off-the-shelf hex nut that spins around, and the knob can now only be fitted if you have suitable socket set or box spanner available - inconvenient!

Awful product. Took so long to try and fit ! Only after tried to return steering wheel and fell off in my hand?Very dangerous and doesnt feel secure. I sent back and had refund .

Did the job

It's clamps to the wheel of BMW 1 series fine, just bit cheap and ratterly. Fell off once but tighten up again, little Fiddle to install. More concerned about damage over long time due to way it clamps to wheel.

needs to be really tight, as I found it could slip around the wheel. It then squeezes the actual steering wheel to the point where it losses it shape. It still works but......

Part missing. No Allen bolt hole to tighten the clamp. Utterly useless!
