The book is very pretty. The patterns are not for beginners. For example the Heart Brooch mittens does not explain how to make stitches for the thumb and the beginning of the book shows a different way all together how to make a thumb. Could have really helped to have more details and to make the patterns bigger as well as have right and left patterns for mittens instead of just saying to do the reverse. Overall lacks enough detail. Also to add for these Brooch mittens, the book says refer to page thirteen for the explanation on how to close the mitten but page 13 is how to do a heal flap on a sock. Clearly an error.
