This is a really useful product to keep the compost bin actice during winter season

I read the glowing reviews for this compost accelerator and knew I had to give it a go myself. I have used Envii products before and know they are great quality and do deliver. I followed the instructions closely and to the letter. All our compost bins are very full due to having a large garden, cooking a lot (loads of veggie bits go in composters) and putting our outdoor pet waste in there (from my rabbits & chickens). I don't add any paper or anything that doesn't naturally belong in a compost bin/heap. Using the product: I dissolved one tablet in 5ltr warm water for between 30 - 60 minutes as directed. Once this was done I used a garden fork to make a well in the center of each heap and poured the water via a watering can into the center of the piles (each heap had a tablet each). I then infilled the holes with the material inside each bin and replaced the lids to keep as much heat in as possible. I can see that some people found it made the contents of their bins too wet, I think if you don't have a lot in them you need to adjust accordingly. My compost seems OK and not too wet. Today it was a week since I added the Envii Accelerator and I had cleaned out my rabbits and chickens, whose droppings and sawdust I add to the compost each week. I dug each bin over fairly well, as soon as each lid came off I could smell that the materials inside are breaking down, the center of each heap was also warm. I had also noticed that there were a lot of worms in the compost this time, they seem to have been attracted to the bins since adding this magic ingredient. I am looking forward to having great compost within the new few months, maybe sooner! If they are broken down well before Spring I will bag up the compost and store it and start the bins off again. There really isn't so much need to buy compost if you recycle as much kitchen and garden waste as possible :) cuts out plastic too :)

Bought this because composting had ground to a halt due to the weather. Not sure if it works or not, how do you know? It took a while before the compost began to shrink. But the weather wascwarmer and the worms came back

This could not be easier to use - just dissolve in warm water and wait 30 mins then pour over compost heap. Repeat every 4 - 6 weeks during warm weather. After 3 - 4 weeks with spring / summer temperatures this develops a fungus that speeds up the breakdown of green compost. Turn the material every few weeks will help speed up the process and 3 - 4 months later you have usable compost. Very impressive and I like it much more than the old style lime based accelerators as this feels more natural.

Der Kompostbeschleuniger hat mich positiv überrascht. Anfangs war ich skeptisch, ob er wirklich funktioniert, aber er hat sich als äußerst effektiv erwiesen. Die Anwendung ist denkbar einfach - einfach die Tabs in den Kompost geben und die Mikroorganismen erledigen den Rest. Obwohl er nicht zu den günstigsten Produkten gehört, ist er jeden Cent wert. Ich konnte meinen Komposthaufen in Rekordzeit in wertvollen Humus verwandeln. Die Qualität und Effizienz dieses Bio-Kompostbeschleunigers sind beeindruckend. Auch wenn er nicht ganz billig ist, der Kompostbeschleuniger ist jeden Cent wert. Klare Kaufempfehlung
