Good Light but Difficult to Install
I bought the ASD LED Linear Under Cabinet Lighting 9 inch 3W light to replace a 2700K under cabinet light as it did not provide a bright enough work space light. It got good reviews and I liked how it had the three different light modes. As no installation instructions I went to their site for this information; however it only showed how to install using the back installation option and not the side installation option instructions. I called ASD’s office for technical support as I needed to remove the on-off and mode selector switches plate to facilitate the side installation option. I was told the plate cover didn’t come off, that it was very difficult to feed the wires through the side knockout to connect the unit and to try to use the back option. So I connected it through the back, tested the light and it worked great. Unfortunately I could not feed the three connector caps and wires back into the very limited space and therefore am returning the fixture. It’s too bad as again the light functioned great, I liked the mode selection and the support technicians were as helpful as possible. Hopefully ASD will make the plate removable to facilitate the installation and include instructions in the package. PS: I successfully installed three other units, all which had removable plates which made it very easy to connect and seal the wires in the units.

Heads up if you don't use back hole for connection
Nice light. I got them to replace humming fluorescents. The switch for 3 different kinds of light is a great feature.Install is straightforward if you use the large hole in the back. Connect the wires, attach the nuts, push them inside the fixture, fasten fixture under cabinet with mounting screws, done. HOWEVER, if you use the end knock out, the opening is small. Be aware that the wire nuts will not fit through the opening along with the wires, so you have to pass the house wires through the knock out then connect them and install wire nuts INSIDE the fixture which requires removing the cover that's attached with two small white screws (not difficult). This is tricky because you have to hold the fixture so close to the installation location because there is probably not much more than a few inches of lead house wire. Also, if you use the knock out on the switch end, the insides of the light are there so it is very difficult to fit all the wires and wire nuts around the light parts and get the cover back on. It can be done, just a heads up.

Nice finished product and function but a bear to install
These work great as an undercabinet LED light with an array of color options. That said, the install will be a real pain if your wire feeds are on the switch side of the unit(s). You MUST ingress the Romex from the side opposite the switch. That means for the three that I just installed, I had to extend the wiring to the other side of the cabinet. Yes, extra conduit, conduit hangers, junction box and wire.If your install has the house wiring entering from the punch out that is not on the switch side, you're golden. If your install intends to enter from the switch side of the light, don't even try it, McGuyver.

Just the light nothing more
The product descriptions for this light clearly states "For your convenience we provide a Romex connector and screws. Refer to install instructions for detailed steps." This is inaccurate. Maybe some other ASD models come with these, but mine arrived with the light in a box, nothing else. Other brands come with romex connectors, wire nuts, linkage wires, screws, instructions. This has none of those niceties. Would it be too much to ask for the two #8 1-inch wood screws that everyone will need to fit very specific mounting holes in this light with enough extra length to dig into the cabinet safely. With no instructions, it took me unscrewing most of the 20 screws before I figured out only the 2 white screws on the top panel need to be removed to access the back wire compartment. A simple diagram on the box could have solved that. If you're an electrician and you build several of these a week, no sweat. I haven't tried to link two lights, yet. That seems like it's going to be a bit of a challenge for a DIY-er. The light once installed is decent, very bright but the 3000k setting isn't quite as warm as I was hoping, maybe I really wanted 2700k. And there is a slight pause before they switch on if that bothers you. So I think it's a little overpriced for what you get. Hope this helps.

Look good but very inconsistent with their packaging
So I bought 8 lights (2) 32's (3) 24's and (3) 18's to do my kitchen on our remodel. The good is that they all work and are dim-able. The bad is the packaging is terribly inconsistent. The first box I opened (24) had no wire nuts or screws to attach to the cabinet so off to the hardware store I went. Then later the 32's had screws and wire nuts plus stress coupling for the punch out. Then the 18's had all that plus linkable plugs to link them together?? Why would the 18's be linkable with plugs and the rest you had to run romex between each one. Also the 18's have 3 color options that are different than all the others 1 has 2700-3000-4000k option the others have 3000-4000-5000k options luckily we have 3000k in our house now so that works for us but obviously the 18's are made different than the others ( also different looking fixture.
