I’ve always trusted this brand. The size I got is perfect for containing lunch and also 100% leak proof. It get tossed in my bag and I walk around 40 mins to get to work and my food (although tossed up) is securely contained inside, no leaks whatsoever. It’s also easy to clean and never smells like the food you had in it afterwards. I’ve bought alternative brands before but they don’t compare to Lock&Lock.

FANTASTIC

I love these containers - they seal well, are sturdy, look good, and are very satisfying to lock. However I made the mistake of ordering this container to fit an object 20cm by 10cm, only to discover that the dimensions quoted are for the outside not for the inside, so alas it doesn't quite fit. Be careful to size up - internal dimension is around 2cm less than that quoted.

I spend much of my working life travelling, and find these storage boxes - in the 800ml size - a real life-saver! One easily holds five full-size cotton reels in the basic colours, several smaller ones in shades to match the clothes I've packed, a measuring tape, scissors, needles, pins, safety pins, press-studs, hem-tape, stitch-ripper....and there is still room for plenty more; Another holds a black and a neutral shoe polish, brushes, dusters and a shoe horn; whilst a third one holds nail-polishes, remover, cuticle oil, scissors, emery boards and orange-sticks. Each one can be tucked down in the edges of a suitcase (even up-ended) without fear of tipping out the contents or leakage, and they can be stacked together in a hotel wardrobe. Finally, the transparent plastic means the contents are clearly visible. Yes, I know there are travel sewing kits, shoe-care kits and manicure sets available, but they are never adequate for several weeks of continuous travel, and anyway I prefer to make up my own with the contents and brands I choose. These are a great way of doing that!

I am an Indian and have lots of gravy in my lunch. This boxes serves me really good with the locking design, height and width both. The size is just perfect for me and may be for many. I am liking it so much that I see it daily on my lunch table. Good one...!

It looks like it will take a lot of bashing about, and still be a good seal after a long time, but only time will be the real proof.

Je suis devenu fan des boites étanches Lock&Lock: Parfaite étanchéité, légèreté, prix sympa, très grand choix de formats Je m'en sert de réceptacle à batterie: un presse étoupe, un connecteur, et ça marche; j'en mets dans tous mes bateaux. Beaucoup mieux que les boites rigides qui sont beaucoup plus chères et beaucoup plus encombrantes, avec des formats limités et des nervures qui excluent un presse étoupe.

I had an old lock and lock box which I used daily as my lunch box to office . I used it for almost a year and it never failed in quality or purpose. It never leaked , kept the food hot for atleast 30-35 min, and the locks were extranet study. The only reason I went for a second box is cos the first one got stained due to excessive usage . And it kinda felt filthy using an old stained lunch box to eat food from. Since I love the quality so much, I went for the same thing again. I've uploaded photos of how it looked when it gets stained after daily usage , and the new one.
