this is almost the perfect pair of slip shorts. it is typical nylon slip material with lingerie lace trim on the leg holes. the material is stretchy, as is the lace. the only problem with it is how they sewed the lace on. they didn't use a stretchy stitch, so the stitching has no give to it. very comfortable while standing but when i sat down it pulled tight against my thighs, actually cutting in a bit, very uncomfortable. i'm considering just removing the lace all together, see if the legs roll up or anything weird. if not for that one issue this would be a perfect item!

I wanted these to sleep in. I wear the boxer length ones everyday but for sleeping they twisted so I thought I'd try longer ones. These work great! No twisting and very comfortable. I'm between a size 10 and 12 and I ordered the XL and they fit great.

I'VE BEEN USING A COULOTTE SLIP FOR YEARS! ( & REGULAR HALF SLIPS). I NEVER EVER WEAR A DRESS OR SKIRT WITHOUT ONE! I PREFER TGE COULOTTE ONE BECAUSE ON HOT DAYS IT KEEPS YOUR INNER THIGHS SEPERATED. ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE HOT BLOODED ALREADY,& SWEAT A LOT.

These are wonderful for pulling up jeans as they slide up well. However, even though they fit fine, after awhile the narrow elastic waist band was cutting in and grew uncomfortable. So won't buy these again, but really like the idea for under skirts, dresses - almost anything. But look for ones with wide waist band or knitted in for more comfort.

I bought these because I own a few pair of pants, dresses/skirts, and jumpers/ one piece pant suits that are either white, linen, or too sheer/ thin (or a combination of all three) and no matter what style and colour of underwear I try, you can see my underwear underneath. I bought these hoping that they would be long enough to seem to disappear under the pant, because if I got a short style too short (like a boxer short) you would likely still be able to see them around my thighs and butt, but I didn't want full length either for my capris/skirts/ dresses. These are perfect! You can longer see my underwear underneath my clothes, and the colour and material seems to blend with my skin/ be subtle enough under the clothing that you can't even tell they are there under the clothes. Very comfortable and fit perfectly. If need something to wear under pants that are too sheer or even just something to wear for under skirts or dresses these are amazing!

I hate the sensation of my thighs brushing against each other when I wear a dress (which is rare these days) and since I haven't worn pantyhose or tights in years, I needed something to eliminate the dreaded thigh friction, especially on hot, sticky summer days! These looked like a smarter version of the half-slips we used to wear - made to order for bare legs. Guided by other reviewers' suggestions, I ordered the next size up and they fit comfortably with sufficient room in the legs without the waist being too large (meaning they fit small, so be warned!). Surprisingly, they do not ride up when I walk, so that was a relief. I am 5' 4", and they sit an inch or two above my knee. If you need something for a dress length at mid thigh, look for a something shorter, or something that can be cut to different lengths.

I thought product might fit small so I ordered up a size and it fit perfectly. Good quality for a reasonable price.
