Schwalbe Land Cruiser 26" x 2.0 Mountain Bike Tyres (Pair)

Was worried they would not be smooth enough for good speed but they are great. Good grip, good price, seem sturdy and look smart too. What’s not to like?

I've been using these tyres for some years now. I am mostly on road and these tyres have lower rolling resitance and noise than a normal MTB tyre. I do go off road - mostly gravel tracks but occasional mud (and sand) and they work OK. They seem reasonably pucture resistant - I find full MTB tyres seem prone to punctures on the gravel tracks we have here in the forest.For me a great tyre and a good price.

Great grip, looks good, feels quality. Delivered on time at a great price. Haven't worn them out yet but as a motorcyclist I'm more than aware of the trade-off between grip and durability - and always recommend grip over durability. Especially for £10 per tyre.

These Schwalbe Land Cruisers were bought to replace a pair of crusty, 20-year old tyres. They feel so much better in comparison, a decent thickness with good tread depth. Can't comment on puncture resistance or wear rates but they seem pliant enough to be comfortable and road noise is OK too.The tread pattern is designed to rotate in a specific direction so check the markings on the sidewall when fitting to make sure you don't put they tyre on the wrong way round. The tread is chunky enough for general off-road use too.My only complaint is that the Amazon picture shows these tyres with a white stripe around the sidewall and they were picked for that retro feel (they were being fitted on an an old bike). The tyres that arrived are plain black, apart from the 'Schwalbe Active Land Cruiser' logo on the side. So sadly not as retro-looking as we'd hoped.

I've found a decent tread for my ebike thank god! I do a lot of miles every day and now I feel safe on the road 😉

Arrived over a week earlier than expected....can't knock that.Put them on to replace old worn knobbly tyres, as doing most of cycling on roads at the moment. Wasn't convinced the different tread would make much difference, just need to replace worn old tyres, but thought I'd try and see...And yes having different tread does make a difference, Im converted....as described were quieter and smoother, but also took nearly 4 mins off usual 15mile ride. Only used a few times since fitting, so can't say about puncture protection (know they are only level 3), but haven't so far. So far very happy with them.

Great quality tyres delivered fast. Made my old bike a pleasure to use again. My old tyres felt like they were dragging my bike down, these feel light and I can move from left to right without that dragging sensation. Great product well worth the money.

We purchased 2 pairs of these as an upgrade to our new mountain bikes around 6 months ago. We have ridden around 1200 miles on them (85% road, 15% gravel/dirt). We had no flats and very little wear (the cheap tires that came with the bikes were always getting flats).For road use, we inflate them to near max pressure, and they ride with very little rolling resistance and no hum/vibration, as the tire rides on the smooth center rib, like a road tire. The key on softer dirt and gravel is to deflate the tires (I like 20 psi rear/13 front) allowing the tire to pancake out a bit and roll over the dirt instead of digging in. Much easier riding and not as twitchy as a hard tire, and the knobby treads make contact.

Je suis ravi de ces pneus qui viennent d'Espagne (il faut patienter un peu pour la réception). Le motif central présente l'avantage de supprimer le bruit de roulement en ligne droite (pneu route) et d'avoir des crampons qui n'interviennent qu'en virages et dans les chemins. Le montage est très bien. La qualité de la gomme aussi.

So I have been riding on these tires for 5 months now... Grip, for sure... Durable, believe it... Do they hold up on a trail you ask? Why yes, yes they do. I have been really satisfied with the tires and if they are still selling in 5 to 7 years when I need more, I will buy again.

Great tire for the money. Like the ability to have a street tire ride on pavement but have tread for bite on dirt.

I can only share what I've learned in the short time I've had these tires. They roll well on the road, but I haven't used them off-road much.
