Great book for kids age 4-10 to learn to bake. Not tons of recipes (about 12?), but great for getting to grips with the basics of baking. Very visually appealing, and I like that it gives suggested variations of the recipes, eg to try chocolate chips or cherries instead of raisins.My son (age 10) likes making cakes and cookies and I decided it'd be good to make them for real instead of using the ready made packet mixes. I initially thought the book might be too young for him, but the simplicity is actually what he needed. Good book, easy to follow recipes, nice pictures.

Bought as a gift for my 6yr old granddaughter who absolutely loves baking when she's with me. I did sent it to her home and I don't think her mum has had time to let her use it but it has very easy step by step instructions for children. Not loads of recipes but I suppose that isn't such a bad thing as that can be overwhelming too.

Brought for 5 year old granddaughter, recipes look simple to follow.I'm waiting for the break from school to try them out.She has already chosen some from the pictures

It's great for kids as it is very visual which helps. The methods are easy to follow and fun. My only criticism is the recipe modification recommendations could do with a bit more detail

Swallow a bitter pill by the target age setting. This book is also excellent for the neuro-diversity children by giving a lot of the visual images and clear instructions. My autistic 12-yo daughter independently baked cookies thanks to this book. Not only the fact but she truly enjoyed it! Thank you, Jane!

I love it they love it, the pictures are so easy for them to follow and they can bake with this book and not ruin my fav baking books! Love it!! I’ve recommended it to work colleagues too so they can protect their fav baking books from the kids and build memories baking with a kid friendly book

What a lovely book. Bought to cook with 3 year old Granddaughter. Gorgeous pictures and simple, clear recipes. We’ve loved making delicious things together. Loads of educational spins offs as well. Measuring, mixing etc.
