Correct DTF film to sublimate on cotton
We used this DTF film to sublimate on 100% white cotton tshirt for one of our grandkid’s birthdays. The film comes packed in a clear cellophane package containing 20 sheets sized 8.5” x 11.7”.We printed on the rough side of this DTF film using our sublimation printer. Afterwards, we spread DTF powder all over the design. We were very careful to brush away any powder that wasn’t on the design. Then we proofed the DTF powder coated design for about 30” by setting it under our heat press. (The heat press did not come in contact with the film)Our heat press was set at 410 degrees and we pressed the design for 40 seconds. It actually worked! It’s not as dark as a sublimated design on polyester, but it worked! The DTF transfer is a clear film that has a rough side and a smooth side. We printed on the rough side. We did not have any trouble with the film feeding through our printer. It printed nicely, no,jamming or smearing. The design is not as bright as the designs on 100% polyester shirts. After going through the wash and dryer, the design is still intact.

Inkjet printer
I am new to dtf so new, in fact, that I do not own a dtf printer or sublimation printer, but I know you can hack it with an inkjet. I have an hp 6055e printer, and it printed beautifully on the film. As soon as it printed out, I coated it with dtf powder heated it, coated again and pressed. It came out pretty well! I was very impressed. I have seen videos where there is still some ink left on the film, but not this one! I followed the directions and set my heat press to 320°F for 50 seconds worked like a charm! I especially love that you can peel it off hot and don't have to wait for it to cool down. I feel like it does dull down the color a bit, but honestly, I'm not mad. It definitely beats weeding vinyl. And I was able to do with my inkjet!

Easy printing
This film was easily accepted into my epson 2720. The ink took on it nicely and did not smear. Following the powder application (sold separately) the ink transferred nicely and didn’t leave loads on the film, so the colors were vibrant. This film was exceptionally easy to use and yielded great results. I appreciated the A4 size which gave me slightly more room for printing than the standard US letter size but was still easily accepted by my printer.
