HandiWorld Holdall Roof Box - Black

This review will encompass both the HandiWorld Foldable Roofbox and the Inflating Roofbar system....you know that bit where you are driving along the motorway with the universal bike carrier hanging on the back of the car, and you are thinking "crap I hope I got that right" secretly praying your daughters barbie bike doesn't end up in the outside lane .. well you won't ever get that feeling from the HandiWorld roofbox and roofbar system. The first time you put them on, it takes about 45 minute. After that you can get the bars and the box on inside 20, and they feel rock sold from the word go. We just got back from a trip to Center Parcs, the roofbox had two large holdalls, the 3 front wheels off the bikes and all the light food-stuff. Provided you keep the weight under the recommended limit, you can get an immense amount of gear up there.Taking it down and packing it away is another 5 star experience. Get what Handiworld did ? They actually made the bags large enough to get the stuff back into easily ... I know right ! It's not like a tent which only fits back in the bag if you have an industrial vacuum packing machine. The holdall even comes with a couple of handi straps (see what I did there) to reduce the bullk before it goes in the bag. Even in a small car the entire system takes up no room at all in the boot if you want to carry it around.I've been driving for a long time and had a lot of cars with a lot of heavy expensive roof rack systems, for day-to-day space saving you can't get a better product.

This is a brilliant piece of kit, we used it with the inflatable Handirack Husband was very dubious at first. We were going to buy a solid top box but storing it when not in use would be a problem. We attached it a couple of times to practice before using it for a 350 mile trip, glad we did as it can be a bit fiddly at first. You will also need to stand on something to be able to lift your stuff up. Top tip, assemble on the car first before filling it. We got 3 very large hold-alls in it with plenty of room to spare. The zips are very strong and it's completely waterproof. We stopped a few times to check everything was ok but needn't have bothered it didn't move or loosen at all. No problem at all at motorway speeds. Folds back down into the supplied bags and takes up no room at all in the boot. Very impressed and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Looks well made, not used it yet but purchased it due to the fact of storage and it fits under our stairs I chose it on other reviews from people who had used it hoping to try it out next bank holiday

Very pleased with the HandiWorld Holdall. Can get quite a lot in which gives us more room in the car and easy to store away which is what I wanted.

It looks ok nice and thick and strong it is a good size not used it yet the price is a but on the high side but you pay for what you get i hope lets see

Used on a holiday to France. It suffered torrential rain, 25 degree heat, autoroute speeds and lots and lots of dead bugs and survived triumphantly.The zips and storm flaps give a great sense of confidence.Attaching to the car doesn't take long once you have done it the first time and the bonus is it can be kept under the bed when not in use.One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Fantastic alternative to an expensive roof rack.Needed a roof rack urgently days before going away but was unable to find one for my car anywhere in stock, and for something that may not get used very often they were quite expensive...I decided to buy the HandiWorld roof box and roof bars for a drive to Southampton from Essex for our cruise holiday and was perfect for the job.Highly recommended.

We were able to bring 4 people and all of our gear to a weekend long festival. We just took it of the roof of the car and brought it with us on a trolley to the campsite.
